and likewise the men also abandoned natural relations with women<n id="1" /> and were inflamed in their passions<n id="2" /> for one another. Men<n id="3" /> committed shameless acts with men and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.p>

We are from God; the person who knows God listens to us, but<n id="1" /> whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this<n id="2" /> we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of deceit.<n id="3" />p>

The one who conquers<n id="1" /> I will make<n id="2" /> a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will never depart from it. I<n id="3" /> will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God (the new Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven from my God),<n id="4" /> and my new name as well.

So<n id="1" /> I looked<n id="2" /> and here came<n id="3" /> a pale green<n id="4" /> horse! The<n id="5" /> name of the one who rode it<n id="6" /> was Death, and Hades followed right behind.<n id="7" /> They<n id="8" /> were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill its population with the sword,<n id="9" /> famine, and disease,<n id="10" /> and by the wild animals of the earth.p>

So<n id="1" /> I said to him, &#8220;My lord, you know the answer.&#8221;<n id="2" /> Then<n id="3" /> he said to me, &#8220;These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation. They<n id="4" /> have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb!

Then<n id="1" /> the voice I had heard from heaven began to speak<n id="2" /> to me<n id="3" /> again,<n id="4" /> &#8220;Go and take the open<n id="5" /> scroll in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.&#8221;

Now<n id="1" /> the dragon&#8217;s<n id="2" /> tail swept away a third of the stars in heaven and hurled them to the earth. Then<n id="3" /> the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child as soon as it was born.

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> I saw a beast coming up out of the sea. It<n id="2" /> had ten horns and seven heads, and on its horns were ten diadem crowns,<n id="3" /> and on its heads a blasphemous name.<n id="4" />

Then<n id="1" /> another angel came out of the temple, shouting in a loud voice to the one seated on the cloud, &#8220;Use<n id="2" /> your sickle and start to reap,<n id="3" /> because the time to reap has come, since the earth&#8217;s harvest is ripe!&#8221;

Another<n id="1" /> angel, who was in charge of<n id="2" /> the fire, came from the altar and called in a loud voice to the angel<n id="3" /> who had the sharp sickle, &#8220;Use<n id="4" /> your sharp sickle and gather<n id="5" /> the clusters of grapes<n id="6" /> off the vine of the earth,<n id="7" /> because its grapes<n id="8" /> are now ripe.&#8221;<n id="9" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now the birth of Jesus Christ happened this way. While his mother Mary was engaged to Joseph, but before they came together,<n id="1" /> she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit.

As they came into the house and saw the child with Mary his mother, they bowed down<n id="1" /> and worshiped him. They opened their treasure boxes and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense,<n id="2" /> and myrrh.<n id="3" />

He stayed there until Herod<n id="1" /> died. In this way what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet was fulfilled: &#8220;<b><i>I called my Son out of Egypti>b>.&#8221;<n id="2" />p>

<p class="bodytext">But when he saw many Pharisees<n id="1" /> and Sadducees<n id="2" /> coming to his baptism, he said to them, &#8220;You offspring of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?

<t /><p class="bodytext">As<n id="1" /> he was walking by the Sea of Galilee he saw two brothers, Simon (called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea (for they were fishermen).<n id="2" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">Jesus<n id="1" /> went throughout all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues,<n id="2" /> preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of disease and sickness among the people.

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;You are the salt<n id="1" /> of the earth. But if salt loses its flavor,<n id="2" /> how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled on by people.

<t /><p class="bodytext">When he came to the other side, to the region of the Gadarenes,<n id="1" /> two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were extremely violent, so that no one was able to pass by that way.

But so that you may know<n id="1" /> that the Son of Man<n id="2" /> has authority on earth to forgive sins&#8221; &#8211; then he said to the paralytic<n id="3" /> &#8211; &#8220;Stand up, take your stretcher, and go home.&#8221;<n id="4" />

But when Jesus turned and saw her he said, &#8220;Have courage, daughter! Your faith has made you well.&#8221;<n id="1" /> And the woman was healed<n id="2" /> from that hour.
