Look up at the sky! ¹  Who created all these heavenly lights? ²  He is the one who leads out their ranks; ³  he calls them all by name. Because of his absolute power and awesome strength, not one of them is missing.

Then ¹  another angel came out of the temple, shouting in a loud voice to the one seated on the cloud, “Use ²  your sickle and start to reap, ³  because the time to reap has come, since the earth’s harvest is ripe!”

They ¹  said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who is seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb, ² 

On the first day there will be a holy assembly for you; you must not do any regular work. ¹ 

But Haman restrained himself and went on to his home. He then sent for his friends to join him, ¹  along with his wife Zeresh.

then this ¹  also would be iniquity to be judged, ²  for I would have been false ³  to God above.

As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, shouting, ¹  “Have mercy ²  on us, Son of David!” ³ 

Later, ¹  the other virgins came too, saying, ‘Lord, lord! Let us in!’ ² 

the voice of one shouting in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make ¹  his paths straight.’” ² 

He ¹  appointed twelve (whom he named apostles ² ), ³  so that they would be with him and he could send them to preach

Jesus ¹  called the twelve and began to send them out two by two. He gave them authority over the unclean spirits. ² 

Peter remembered and said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered.”

Pilate was surprised that he was already dead. He ¹  called the centurion and asked him if he had been dead for some time.

So Joseph sent a message ¹  and invited ²  his father Jacob and all his relatives to come, seventy-five people ³  in all.

The voice ¹  spoke to him again, a second time, “What God has made clean, you must not consider ²  ritually unclean!” ³
