the twenty-four elders throw themselves to the ground<n id="1" /> before the one who sits on the throne and worship the one who lives forever and ever, and they offer their crowns<n id="2" /> before his<n id="3" /> throne, saying:p>

So<n id="1" /> I looked,<n id="2" /> and here came<n id="3" /> a white horse! The<n id="4" /> one who rode it<n id="5" /> had a bow, and he was given a crown,<n id="6" /> and as a conqueror<n id="7" /> he rode out to conquer.p>

And another horse, fiery red,<n id="1" /> came out, and the one who rode it<n id="2" /> was granted permission<n id="3" /> to take peace from the earth, so that people would butcher<n id="4" /> one another, and he was given a huge sword.p>

<p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> when the Lamb opened the third seal I heard the third living creature saying, &#8220;Come!&#8221; So<n id="2" /> I looked,<n id="3" /> and here came<n id="4" /> a black horse! The<n id="5" /> one who rode it<n id="6" /> had a balance scale<n id="7" /> in his hand.

They<n id="1" /> cried out with a loud voice,<n id="2" /> &#8220;How long,<n id="3" /> Sovereign Master,<n id="4" /> holy and true, before you judge those who live on the earth and avenge our blood?&#8221;

<p class="bodytext">And all the angels stood<n id="1" /> there in a circle around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they threw themselves down with their faces to the ground<n id="2" /> before the throne and worshiped God,

because the Lamb in the middle of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to springs of living water, <i>and God will wipe away every tear from their eyesi>.&#8221;<n id="1" />p>

Then<n id="1" /> I looked, and I heard an<n id="2" /> eagle<n id="3" /> flying directly overhead,<n id="4" /> proclaiming with a loud voice, &#8220;Woe! Woe! Woe to those who live on the earth because of the remaining sounds of the trumpets of the three angels who are about to blow them!&#8221;<n id="5" />p>

They<n id="1" /> were told<n id="2" /> not to damage the grass of the earth, or any green plant or tree, but only those people<n id="3" /> who did not have the seal of God on their<n id="4" /> forehead.

<p class="bodytext">Now<n id="1" /> the locusts looked like horses equipped for battle. On<n id="2" /> their heads were something like crowns similar to gold,<n id="3" /> and their faces looked like men&#8217;s<n id="4" /> faces.

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> I saw another powerful angel descending from heaven, wrapped<n id="2" /> in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun and his legs were like pillars of fire.<n id="3" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and with the moon under her feet, and on her head was a crown of twelve stars.<n id="2" />

Then<n id="1" /> another sign appeared in heaven: a huge red dragon that had seven heads and ten horns, and on its heads were seven diadem crowns.<n id="2" />

So<n id="1" /> the dragon became enraged at the woman and went away to make war on the rest of her children,<n id="2" /> those who keep<n id="3" /> God&#8217;s commandments and hold to<n id="4" /> the testimony about Jesus.<n id="5" /> <v id="(12:18)" /> And the dragon<n id="6" /> stood<n id="7" /> on the sand<n id="8" /> of the seashore.<n id="9" />p>

and all those who live on the earth will worship the beast,<n id="1" /> everyone whose name has not been written since the foundation of the world<n id="2" /> in the book of life belonging to the Lamb who was killed.<n id="3" />

Thus<n id="1" /> people<n id="2" /> were scorched by the terrible heat,<n id="3" /> yet<n id="4" /> they blasphemed the name of God, who has ruling authority<n id="5" /> over these plagues, and they would not repent and give him glory.p>

<p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> the fifth angel<n id="2" /> poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast so that<n id="3" /> darkness covered his kingdom,<n id="4" /> and people<n id="5" /> began to bite<n id="6" /> their tongues because<n id="7" /> of their pain.

<p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> the sixth angel<n id="2" /> poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates and dried up its water<n id="3" /> to prepare the way<n id="4" /> for the kings from the east.<n id="5" />

For they are the spirits of the demons performing signs who go out to the kings of the earth<n id="1" /> to bring them together for the battle that will take place on the great day of God, the All-Powerful.<n id="2" />p>

Then<n id="1" /> there were flashes of lightning, roaring,<n id="2" /> and crashes of thunder, and there was a tremendous earthquake &#8211; an earthquake unequaled since humanity<n id="3" /> has been on the earth, so tremendous was that earthquake.
