so that you may be like<n id="1" /> your Father in heaven, since he causes the sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

For the unconverted<n id="1" /> pursue these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;Enter through the narrow gate, because the gate is wide and the way is spacious that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.

But the gate is narrow and the way is difficult that leads to life, and there are few who find it.p>

I tell you, many will come from the east and west to share the banquet<n id="1" /> with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob<n id="2" /> in the kingdom of heaven,

And the men<n id="1" /> were amazed and said,<n id="2" /> &#8220;What sort of person is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him!&#8221;<n id="3" />p>

When<n id="1" /> he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were bewildered and helpless,<n id="2" /> like sheep without a shepherd.

Or have you not read in the law that the priests in the temple desecrate the Sabbath and yet are not guilty?

I<n id="1" /> tell you that on the day of judgment, people will give an account for every worthless word they speak.

He replied,<n id="1" /> &#8220;You have been given<n id="2" /> the opportunity to know<n id="3" /> the secrets<n id="4" /> of the kingdom of heaven, but they have not.

For this reason I speak to them in parables: Although they see they do not see, and although they hear they do not hear nor do they understand.

When<n id="1" /> the disciples saw him walking on the water<n id="2" /> they were terrified and said, &#8220;It&#8217;s a ghost!&#8221; and cried out with fear.

Don&#8217;t you understand that whatever goes into the mouth enters the stomach and then passes out into the sewer?<n id="1" />

But he did not answer her a word. Then<n id="1" /> his disciples came and begged him,<n id="2" /> &#8220;Send her away, because she keeps on crying out after us.&#8221;

How could you not understand that I was not speaking to you about bread? But beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees!&#8221;

Then they understood that he had not told them to be on guard against the yeast in bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.p>

The disciples asked him,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Why then do the experts in the law<n id="2" /> say that Elijah must come first?&#8221;

and said, &#8220;Lord, have mercy on my son, because he has seizures<n id="1" /> and suffers terribly, for he often falls into the fire and into the water.

And if he finds it, I tell you the truth,<n id="1" /> he will rejoice more over it than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray.

He answered, &#8220;Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator <b><i>made them male and femalei>b>,<n id="1" />
