But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you know nothing about.”

(For Jesus himself had testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country.)<n id="1" />

So Jesus said to him, &#8220;Unless you people<n id="1" /> see signs and wonders you will never believe!&#8221;<n id="2" />

<p class="bodytext">So the Jewish leaders<n id="1" /> said to the man who had been healed, &#8220;It is the Sabbath, and you are not permitted to carry your mat.&#8221;<n id="2" />

(I do not accept<n id="1" /> human testimony, but I say this so that you may be saved.)

Philip replied,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Two hundred silver coins worth<n id="2" /> of bread would not be enough for them, for each one to get a little.&#8221;

<p class="bodytext">But when his brothers had gone up to the feast, then Jesus<n id="1" /> himself also went up, not openly but in secret.

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then some of the residents of Jerusalem<n id="1" /> began to say, &#8220;Isn&#8217;t this the man<n id="2" /> they are trying<n id="3" /> to kill?

So the Pharisees<n id="1" /> objected,<n id="2" /> &#8220;You testify about yourself; your testimony is not true!&#8221;<n id="3" />

The slave does not remain in the family<n id="1" /> forever, but the son remains forever.<n id="2" />

Who among you can prove me guilty<n id="1" /> of any sin?<n id="2" /> If I am telling you<n id="3" /> the truth, why don&#8217;t you believe me?

Jesus answered, &#8220;I am not possessed by a demon,<n id="1" /> but I honor my Father &#8211; and yet<n id="2" /> you dishonor me.

I am not trying to get<n id="1" /> praise for myself.<n id="2" /> There is one who demands<n id="3" /> it, and he also judges.<n id="4" />

We know that God has spoken to Moses! We do not know where this man<n id="1" /> comes from!&#8221;

All who came before me were<n id="1" /> thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them.<n id="2" />

Others said, &#8220;These are not the words<n id="1" /> of someone possessed by a demon. A demon cannot cause the blind to see,<n id="2" /> can it?&#8221;<n id="3" />p>

But if anyone walks around at night,<n id="1" /> he stumbles,<n id="2" /> because the light is not in him.&#8221;p>

and I am glad<n id="1" /> for your sake that I was not there, so that you may believe.<n id="2" /> But let us go to him.&#8221;

Martha<n id="1" /> said to Jesus, &#8220;Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.

and the one who lives and believes in me will never die.<n id="1" /> Do you believe this?&#8221;
