<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> I saw another powerful angel descending from heaven, wrapped<n id="2" /> in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun and his legs were like pillars of fire.<n id="3" />

When the seven thunders spoke, I was preparing to write, but<n id="1" /> just then<n id="2" /> I heard a voice from heaven say, &#8220;Seal up what the seven thunders spoke and do not write it down.&#8221;

So<n id="1" /> I took the little scroll from the angel&#8217;s hand and ate it, and it did taste<n id="2" /> as sweet as honey in my mouth, but<n id="3" /> when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.

If<n id="1" /> anyone wants to harm them, fire comes out of their mouths<n id="2" /> and completely consumes<n id="3" /> their enemies. If<n id="4" /> anyone wants to harm them, they must be killed this way.

When<n id="1" /> they have completed their testimony, the beast that comes up from the abyss will make war on them and conquer<n id="2" /> them and kill them.

For three and a half days those from every<n id="1" /> people, tribe,<n id="2" /> nation, and language will look at their corpses, because they will not permit them to be placed in a tomb.<n id="3" />

But<n id="1" /> after three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and tremendous fear seized<n id="2" /> those who were watching them.

Then<n id="1" /> they<n id="2" /> heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them: &#8220;Come up here!&#8221; So the two prophets<n id="3" /> went up to heaven in a cloud while<n id="4" /> their enemies stared at them.

but<n id="1" /> the earth came to her rescue;<n id="2" /> the ground opened up<n id="3" /> and swallowed the river that the dragon had spewed from his mouth.

One of the beast&#8217;s<n id="1" /> heads appeared to have been killed,<n id="2" /> but the lethal wound had been healed.<n id="3" /> And the whole world followed<n id="4" /> the beast in amazement;

I also heard a sound<n id="1" /> coming out of heaven like the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder. Now<n id="2" /> the sound I heard was like that made by harpists playing their harps,

<p class="bodytext">A<n id="1" /> second<n id="2" /> angel<n id="3" /> followed the first,<n id="4" /> declaring:<n id="5" /> &#8220;Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great city!<n id="6" /> She made all the nations<n id="7" /> drink of the wine of her immoral passion.&#8221;<n id="8" />p>

that person<n id="1" /> will also drink of the wine of God&#8217;s anger<n id="2" /> that has been mixed undiluted in the cup of his wrath, and he will be tortured with fire and sulfur<n id="3" /> in front of the holy angels and in front of the Lamb.

and the seven angels who had the seven plagues came out of the temple, dressed in clean bright linen, wearing wide golden belts<n id="1" /> around their chests.

Then<n id="1" /> one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls filled with the wrath<n id="2" /> of God who lives forever and ever,

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> I heard a loud voice from the temple declaring to the seven angels: &#8220;Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls containing God&#8217;s wrath.&#8221;<n id="2" />

<p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> the fifth angel<n id="2" /> poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast so that<n id="3" /> darkness covered his kingdom,<n id="4" /> and people<n id="5" /> began to bite<n id="6" /> their tongues because<n id="7" /> of their pain.

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke to me.<n id="2" /> &#8220;Come,&#8221; he said, &#8220;I will show you the condemnation and punishment<n id="3" /> of the great prostitute who sits on many waters,

cargo such as gold, silver,<n id="1" /> precious stones, pearls, fine linen, purple cloth, silk,<n id="2" /> scarlet cloth,<n id="3" /> all sorts of things made of citron wood,<n id="4" /> all sorts of objects made of ivory, all sorts of things made of expensive wood, bronze, iron and marble,

<p class="poetry">because his judgments are true and just.<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">For he has judged<n id="2" /> the great prostitutep> <p class="poetry">who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality,p> <p class="poetry">and has avenged the blood of his servants<n id="3" /> poured out by her own hands!&#8221;<n id="4" />p>
