Our ancestors<n id="1" /> ate the manna in the wilderness, just as it is written, &#8216;<b><i>He gave them bread from heaven to eati>b>.&#8217;&#8221;<n id="2" />p>

It is written in the prophets, &#8216;<b><i>And they will all be taught by Godi>b>.&#8217;<n id="1" /> Everyone who hears and learns from the Father<n id="2" /> comes to me.

This<n id="1" /> is the bread that has come down from heaven, so that a person<n id="2" /> may eat from it and not die.

Then many of his disciples, when they heard these things,<n id="1" /> said, &#8220;This is a difficult<n id="2" /> saying!<n id="3" /> Who can understand it?&#8221;<n id="4" />

Jesus replied,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Didn&#8217;t I choose you, the twelve, and yet one of you is the devil?&#8221;<n id="2" />

<p class="bodytext">So Jesus replied,<n id="1" /> &#8220;My time<n id="2" /> has not yet arrived,<n id="3" /> but you are ready at any opportunity!<n id="4" />

The world cannot hate you, but it hates me, because I am testifying about it that its deeds are evil.

So Jesus replied,<n id="1" /> &#8220;My teaching is not from me, but from the one who sent me.<n id="2" />

If anyone wants to do God&#8217;s will,<n id="1" /> he will know about my teaching, whether it is from God or whether I speak from my own authority.<n id="2" />

However, because Moses gave you the practice of circumcision<n id="1" /> (not that it came from Moses, but from the forefathers), you circumcise a male child<n id="2" /> on the Sabbath.

Yet here he is, speaking publicly,<n id="1" /> and they are saying nothing to him.<n id="2" /> Do the rulers really know that this man<n id="3" /> is the Christ?<n id="4" />

Others said, &#8220;This is the Christ!&#8221;<n id="1" /> But still others said, &#8220;No,<n id="2" /> for the Christ doesn&#8217;t come from Galilee, does he?<n id="3" />

But if I judge, my evaluation is accurate,<n id="1" /> because I am not alone when I judge,<n id="2" /> but I and the Father who sent me do so together.<n id="3" />

And the one who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone,<n id="1" /> because I always do those things that please him.&#8221;

Jesus answered them, &#8220;I tell you the solemn truth,<n id="1" /> everyone who practices<n id="2" /> sin is a slave<n id="3" /> of sin.

We must perform the deeds<n id="1" /> of the one who sent me<n id="2" /> as long as<n id="3" /> it is daytime. Night is coming when no one can work.

<p class="bodytext">Then the neighbors and the people who had seen him previously<n id="1" /> as a beggar began saying,<n id="2" /> &#8220;Is this not the man<n id="3" /> who used to sit and beg?&#8221;

So again they asked the man who used to be blind,<n id="1" /> &#8220;What do you say about him, since he caused you to see?&#8221;<n id="2" /> &#8220;He is a prophet,&#8221; the man replied.<n id="3" />p>

They asked the parents,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Is this your son, whom you say<n id="2" /> was born blind? Then how does he now see?&#8221;

So his parents replied,<n id="1" /> &#8220;We know that this is our son and that he was born blind.
