Whenever<n id="1" /> they persecute you in one place,<n id="2" /> flee to another. I tell you the truth,<n id="3" /> you will not finish going through all the towns<n id="4" /> of Israel before the Son of Man comes.p>

And whoever gives only a cup of cold water to one of these little ones in the name of a disciple, I tell you the truth,<n id="1" /> he will never lose his reward.&#8221;p>

Now when Jesus<n id="1" /> realized what they were thinking, he said to them,<n id="2" /> &#8220;Every kingdom divided against itself is destroyed,<n id="3" /> and no town or house divided against itself will stand.

But he answered them,<n id="1" /> &#8220;An evil and adulterous generation asks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.
