And if someone wants to sue you and to take your tunic,<n id="1" /> give him your coat also.

Give to the one who asks you,<n id="1" /> and do not reject<n id="2" /> the one who wants to borrow from you.p>

Another<n id="1" /> of the<n id="2" /> disciples said to him, &#8220;Lord, let me first go and bury my father.&#8221;

Therefore ask the Lord of the harvest<n id="1" /> to send out<n id="2" /> workers into his harvest.&#8221;p>

And whoever does not take up his cross<n id="1" /> and follow me is not worthy of me.

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me.<n id="1" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then they brought to him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute. Jesus<n id="1" /> healed him so that he could speak and see.<n id="2" />

So if<n id="1" /> Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?

But he said, &#8216;No, since in gathering the weeds you may uproot the wheat with them.

But when he saw the strong wind he became afraid. And starting to sink, he cried out,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Lord, save me!&#8221;

Then the disciples came to him and said, &#8220;Do you know that when the Pharisees<n id="1" /> heard this saying they were offended?&#8221;

But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these things defile a person.

They answered, &#8220;Some say John the Baptist, others Elijah,<n id="1" /> and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.&#8221;

Should you not have shown mercy to your fellow slave, just as I showed it to you?&#8217;

He<n id="1" /> said to them, &#8220;Not everyone can accept this statement, except those to whom it has been given.

But when the young man heard this he went away sorrowful, for he was very rich.<n id="1" />p>

And after agreeing with the workers for the standard wage,<n id="1" /> he sent them into his vineyard.

He said to them, &#8216;You go into the vineyard too, and I will give you whatever is right.&#8217;

They said to him, &#8216;Because no one hired us.&#8217; He said to them, &#8216;You go and work in the vineyard too.&#8217;

They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks<n id="1" /> on them, and he sat on them.
