<p class="poetry">Wake up! <p class="poetry">For look, the <sc>Lordsc> comes with fire,p> <p class="poetry">his chariots come like a windstorm,<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">to reveal his raging anger,p> <p class="poetry">his battle cry, and his flaming arrows.<n id="2" />p>

<p class="poetry">Should good be paid back with evil?p> <p class="poetry">Yet they are virtually digging a pit to kill me.<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">Just remember how I stood before youp> <p class="poetry">pleading on their behalf<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">to keep you from venting your anger on them.<n id="3" />p>

&#8216;I will certainly regather my people from all the countries where I will have exiled<n id="1" /> them in my anger, fury, and great wrath. I will bring them back to this place and allow them to live here in safety.

Soon now I will pour out my rage<n id="1" /> on you; I will fully vent my anger against you. I will judge you according to your behavior. I will hold you accountable for all your abominable practices.

Therefore I will act with fury! My eye will not pity them nor will I spare<n id="1" /> them. When they have shouted in my ears, I will not listen to them.&#8221;p>

I will vent my rage against the wall, and against those who coated it with whitewash. Then I will say to you, &#8220;The wall is no more and those who whitewashed it are no more &#8211;

As surely as I live, declares the sovereign <sc>Lordsc>, with a powerful hand and an outstretched arm,<n id="1" /> and with an outpouring of rage, I will be king over you.

I will bring you out from the nations, and will gather you from the lands where you are scattered, with a powerful hand and an outstretched arm and with an outpouring of rage!

<p class="poetry">I too will clap my hands together,p> <p class="poetry">I will exhaust my rage;p> <p class="poetry">I the <sc>Lordsc> have spoken.&#8221;p>

As silver is melted in a furnace, so you will be melted in it, and you will know that I, the <sc>Lord,sc> have poured out my anger on you.&#8217;&#8221;p>
