Six days you will gather it, but on the seventh day, the Sabbath, there will not be any.”p>

<p class="bodytext">On the seventh day some of the people went out to gather it, but they found nothing.

<p class="bodytext">Moses&#8217; father-in-law said to him, &#8220;What<n id="1" /> you are doing is not good!

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;If a man sells his daughter<n id="1" /> as a female servant,<n id="2" /> she will not go out as the male servants do.

But if he does not do it with premeditation,<n id="1" /> but it happens by accident,<n id="2" /> then I will appoint for you a place where he may flee.

However, if the injured servant<n id="1" /> survives one or two days, the owner<n id="2" /> will not be punished, for he has suffered the loss.<n id="3" />p>

If it is torn in pieces, then he will bring it for evidence,<n id="1" /> and he will not have to pay for what was torn.p>

If its owner was with it, he will not have to pay; if it was hired, what was paid for the hire covers it.<n id="1" />p>

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;Do not hold back offerings from your granaries or your vats.<n id="1" /> You must give me the firstborn of your sons.

<t /><n id="1" /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;You must not give<n id="2" /> a false report.<n id="3" /> Do not make common cause<n id="4" /> with the wicked<n id="5" /> to be a malicious<n id="6" /> witness.p>

Keep your distance<n id="1" /> from a false charge<n id="2" /> &#8211; do not kill the innocent and the righteous,<n id="3" /> for I will not justify the wicked.<n id="4" />p>

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;You must not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds those who see<n id="1" /> and subverts the words of the righteous.p>

The first of the firstfruits of your soil you must bring to the house of the <sc>Lordsc> your God.p> <p class="bodytext">&#8220;You must not cook a young goat in its mother&#8217;s milk.<n id="1" />p>

No woman will miscarry her young<n id="1" /> or be barren in your land. I will fulfill<n id="2" /> the number of your days.p>

But he did not lay a hand<n id="1" /> on the leaders of the Israelites, so they saw God,<n id="2" /> and they ate and they drank.<n id="3" />p>

And the incense that you are to make, you must not make for yourselves using the same recipe; it is to be most holy to you, belonging to the <sc>Lordsc>.
