<p class="poetry">My flesh and my heart may grow weak,<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">but God always<n id="2" /> protects my heart and gives me stability.<n id="3" />p>

<p class="poetry">For God is the judge!<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">He brings one down and exalts another.<n id="2" />p>

<p class="poetry">I said, &#8220;I will remember God while I groan;p> <p class="poetry">I will think about him while my strength leaves me.&#8221;<n id="1" /> (Selah)p>

<n id="1" /><p class="poetry">O God, your deeds are extraordinary!<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">What god can compare to our great God?<n id="3" />p>

<p class="poetry">They did not keep their covenant with God,<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">and they refused to obey<n id="2" /> his law.p>

<p class="poetry">They remembered that God was their protector,<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">and that the sovereign God was their deliverer.<n id="2" />p>

<p class="poetry">Yet they challenged and defied<n id="1" /> the sovereign God,<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">and did not obey<n id="3" /> his commands.<n id="4" />p>

<p class="poetry">O God, invincible warrior,<n id="1" /> restore us!p> <p class="poetry">Smile on us!<n id="2" /> Then we will be delivered!<n id="3" />p>

<p class="poetry">For you are great and do amazing things.p> <p class="poetry">You alone are God.p>

<p class="poetry">May the evil deeds of the wicked<n id="1" /> come to an end!<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">But make the innocent<n id="3" /> secure,<n id="4" />p> <p class="poetry">O righteous God,p> <p class="poetry">you who examine<n id="5" /> inner thoughts and motives!<n id="6" />p>

<p class="poetry">The wicked man is so arrogant he always thinks,p> <p class="poetry">&#8220;God won&#8217;t hold me accountable; he doesn&#8217;t care.&#8221;<n id="1" />p>

<p class="poetry">Why does the wicked man reject God?<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">He says to himself,<n id="2" /> &#8220;You<n id="3" /> will not hold me accountable.&#8221;<n id="4" />p>

<p class="poetry">The <sc>Lordsc> looks down from heaven<n id="1" /> at the human race,<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">to see if there is anyone who is wise<n id="3" /> and seeks God.<n id="4" />p>
