You are to make fifty gold clasps and join the curtains together with the clasps, so that the tabernacle is a unit. ¹ 

So there are to be eight frames and their silver bases, sixteen bases, two bases under the first frame, and two bases under the next frame.

You are to make the altar hollow, out of boards. Just as it was shown you ¹  on the mountain, so they must make it. ² 

So now go, and I will be with your mouth ¹  and will teach you ²  what you must say.” ³ 

He said, “Tomorrow.” And Moses said, ¹  “It will be ²  as you say, ³  so that you may know that there is no one like the Lord our God.

So Moses and Aaron were brought back to Pharaoh, and he said to them, “Go, serve the Lord your God. Exactly who is going with you?” ¹ 

They are to tie the breastpiece by its rings to the rings of the ephod by blue cord, so that it may be above the waistband of the ephod, and so that the breastpiece will not be loose from the ephod.

The Lord said to Moses, “Pharaoh will not listen to you, so that my wonders ¹  may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.”

The poles are to be put ¹  into the rings so that the poles will be on two sides of the altar when carrying it. ² 

Moses said to Aaron, “What did this people do to you, that you have brought on them so great a sin?”

Then you are to clothe Aaron with the holy garments and anoint him and sanctify him so that he may minister as my priest.

I will be standing ¹  before you there on ²  the rock in Horeb, and you will strike ³  the rock, and water will come out of it so that the people may drink.” ⁴  And Moses did so in plain view ⁵  of the elders of Israel.

So they put foremen ¹  over the Israelites ²  to oppress ³  them with hard labor. As a result ⁴  they built Pithom and Rameses ⁵  as store cities for Pharaoh.

“You must not follow a crowd ¹  in doing evil things; ²  in a lawsuit you must not offer testimony that agrees with a crowd so as to pervert justice, ³ 

According to all that I am showing you ¹  – the pattern of the tabernacle ²  and the pattern of all its furnishings – you ³  must make it exactly so. ⁴ 

So Moses returned to the Lord and said, “Alas, this people has committed a very serious sin, ¹  and they have made for themselves gods of gold.

So all the skilled people who were doing all the work on the sanctuary came from the work ¹  they were doing

So the Lord said to Moses, “How long do you refuse ¹  to obey my commandments and my instructions?

Then Moses sent his father-in-law on his way, ¹  and so Jethro ²  went ³  to his own land. ⁴ 

So the slave masters of the people and their foremen went to the Israelites and said, ¹  “Thus says Pharaoh: ‘I am not giving ²  you straw.
