And to the one who conquers ¹  and who continues in ²  my deeds until the end, I will give him authority over the nations ³  –

They ¹  said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who is seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb, ² 

These are the ones who have not defiled themselves ¹  with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from humanity as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb,

Do not be afraid of the things you are about to suffer. The devil is about to have some of you thrown ¹  into prison so you may be tested, ²  and you will experience suffering ³  for ten days. Remain faithful even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown that is life itself. ⁴ 

Then ¹  another angel came out of the temple, shouting in a loud voice to the one seated on the cloud, “Use ²  your sickle and start to reap, ³  because the time to reap has come, since the earth’s harvest is ripe!”

And I will grant my two witnesses authority ¹  to prophesy for 1,260 days, dressed in sackcloth.

But ¹  no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or look into it.

Repay her the same way she repaid others; ¹  pay her back double ²  corresponding to her deeds. In the cup she mixed, mix double the amount for her.

Then ¹  the voice I had heard from heaven began to speak ²  to me ³  again, ⁴  “Go and take the open ⁵  scroll in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.”

She was permitted to be dressed in bright, clean, fine linen” ¹  (for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints). ² 

The beast you saw was, and is not, but is about to come up from the abyss ¹  and then go to destruction. The ²  inhabitants of the earth – all those whose names have not been written in the book of life since the foundation of the world – will be astounded when they see that ³  the beast was, and is not, but is to come.

But I have a few things against you: You have some people there who follow the teaching of Balaam, ¹  who instructed Balak to put a stumbling block ²  before the people ³  of Israel so they would eat food sacrificed to idols and commit sexual immorality. ⁴ 

Now ¹  the spirits ²  gathered the kings and their armies ³  to the place that is called Armageddon ⁴  in Hebrew.

because her sins have piled ¹  up all the way to heaven ²  and God has remembered ³  her crimes. ⁴ 

“To ¹  the angel of the church in Pergamum write the following: ²  “This is the solemn pronouncement of ³  the one who has the sharp double-edged sword: ⁴ 

saying to the sixth angel, the one holding ¹  the trumpet, “Set free ²  the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates!”

After these things I heard what sounded like the loud voice of a vast throng in heaven, saying, “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,

The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, ¹  I will give him some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white ²  stone, ³  and on that stone will be written a new name that no one can understand ⁴  except the one who receives it.’

he ¹  will rule ²  them with an iron rod ³  and like clay jars he will break them to pieces, ⁴ 

And whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, ¹  and thanks to the one who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever,
