<t /><p class="bodytext">But I myself am fully convinced about you, my brothers and sisters,<n id="1" /> that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and able to instruct one another.

<t /><p class="bodytext">For this reason we also, from the day we heard about you,<n id="1" /> have not ceased praying for you and asking God<n id="2" /> to fill<n id="3" /> you with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

And in this regard we pray for you always, that our God will make you worthy of his calling<n id="1" /> and fulfill by his power your every desire for goodness and every work of faith,

<t /><p class="bodytext">Though I have many other<n id="1" /> things to write to you, I do not want to do so with<n id="2" /> paper and ink,<n id="3" /> but I hope to come visit you and speak face to face,<n id="4" /> so that our joy may be complete.<n id="5" />p>

So the soldiers said to one another, &#8220;Let&#8217;s not tear it, but throw dice<n id="1" /> to see who will get it.&#8221;<n id="2" /> This took place<n id="3" /> to fulfill the scripture that says, &#8220;<b><i>They divided my garments among them, and for my clothing they threw dicei>b>.&#8221;<n id="4" /> So the soldiers did these things.p>
