If<n id="1" /> this matter is heard before the governor,<n id="2" /> we will satisfy him<n id="3" /> and keep you out of trouble.&#8221;<n id="4" />

So anyone who breaks one of the least of these commands and teaches others<n id="1" /> to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever obeys them and teaches others to do so will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

And<n id="1" /> a voice from heaven said,<n id="2" /> &#8220;This is my one dear Son;<n id="3" /> in him<n id="4" /> I take great delight.&#8221;<n id="5" />p>

The tempter came and said to him, &#8220;If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become bread.&#8221;<n id="1" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;You have heard that it was said to an older generation,<n id="1" /> &#8216;<b><i>Do not murderi>b>,&#8217;<n id="2" /> and &#8216;whoever murders will be subjected to judgment.&#8217;

In<n id="1" /> everything, treat others as you would want them<n id="2" /> to treat you,<n id="3" /> for this fulfills<n id="4" /> the law and the prophets.p>

When<n id="1" /> Jesus heard this he was amazed and said to those who followed him, &#8220;I tell you the truth,<n id="2" /> I have not found such faith in anyone in Israel!

Then Jesus said to the centurion, &#8220;Go; just as you believed, it will be done for you.&#8221; And the servant<n id="1" /> was healed at that hour.p>

And the men<n id="1" /> were amazed and said,<n id="2" /> &#8220;What sort of person is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him!&#8221;<n id="3" />p>

<p class="bodytext">Jesus sent out these twelve, instructing them as follows:<n id="1" /> &#8220;Do not go to Gentile regions<n id="2" /> and do not enter any Samaritan town.<n id="3" />

Whenever<n id="1" /> you enter a town or village,<n id="2" /> find out who is worthy there<n id="3" /> and stay with them<n id="4" /> until you leave.

Whenever<n id="1" /> they hand you over for trial, do not worry about how to speak or what to say,<n id="2" /> for what you should say will be given to you at that time.<n id="3" />

<p class="bodytext">While they were going away, Jesus began to speak to the crowd about John: &#8220;What did you go out into the wilderness<n id="1" /> to see? A reed shaken by the wind?<n id="2" />

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;To<n id="1" /> what should I compare this generation? They are like children sitting in the marketplaces who call out to one another,<n id="2" />p>

But when the Pharisees<n id="1" /> heard this they said, &#8220;He does not cast out demons except by the power of Beelzebul,<n id="2" /> the ruler<n id="3" /> of demons!&#8221;

And if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons<n id="1" /> cast them<n id="2" /> out? For this reason they will be your judges.

For this reason I tell you, people will be forgiven for every sin and blasphemy,<n id="1" /> but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.

He replied,<n id="1" /> &#8220;You have been given<n id="2" /> the opportunity to know<n id="3" /> the secrets<n id="4" /> of the kingdom of heaven, but they have not.

For this reason I speak to them in parables: Although they see they do not see, and although they hear they do not hear nor do they understand.

The<n id="1" /> seed sown on rocky ground<n id="2" /> is the person who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy.
