God is faithful, by whom you were called into fellowship with his son, Jesus Christ our Lord.p>

<p class="bodytext">And I want you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the things of the Lord, how to please the Lord.

<p class="bodytext">If anyone considers himself a prophet or spiritual person, he should acknowledge that what I write to you is the Lord&#8217;s command.

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!

<p class="bodytext">Now if Timothy comes, see that he has nothing to fear among you, for he is doing the Lord&#8217;s work, as I am too.

Therefore we are always full of courage, and we know that as long as we are alive here on earth<n id="1" /> we are absent from the Lord &#8211;

always giving thanks to God the Father for each other<n id="1" /> in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

<p class="bodytext">Fathers,<n id="1" /> do not provoke your children to anger,<n id="2" /> but raise them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.p>

because you know that each person, whether slave or free, if he does something good, this<n id="1" /> will be rewarded by the Lord.p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">We always<n id="1" /> give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you,

because you know that you will receive your<n id="1" /> inheritance<n id="2" /> from the Lord as the reward. Serve<n id="3" /> the Lord Christ.

For God did not destine us for wrath<n id="1" /> but for gaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

They<n id="1" /> will undergo the penalty of eternal destruction, <i>away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his strengthi>,<n id="2" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now regarding the arrival<n id="1" /> of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to be with him,<n id="2" /> we ask you, brothers and sisters,<n id="3" />

He called you to this salvation<n id="1" /> through our gospel, so that you may possess the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.<n id="2" />

to Timothy, my genuine child in the faith. Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord!p>

and our Lord&#8217;s grace was abundant, bringing faith and love in Christ Jesus.<n id="1" />

to obey<n id="1" /> this command<n id="2" /> without fault or failure until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ
