<p class="bodytext">And whenever the living creatures give glory, honor,<n id="1" /> and thanks to the one who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever,

and the stars in the sky<n id="1" /> fell to the earth like a fig tree dropping<n id="2" /> its unripe figs<n id="3" /> when shaken by a fierce<n id="4" /> wind.

&#8220;Do not damage the earth or the sea or the trees until we have put a seal on the foreheads of the servants<n id="1" /> of our God.&#8221;

Then<n id="1" /> out of the smoke came locusts onto the earth, and they were given power<n id="2" /> like that of the scorpions of the earth.

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> a measuring rod<n id="2" /> like a staff was given to me, and I was told,<n id="3" /> &#8220;Get up and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and the ones who worship there.

<p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> the twenty-four elders who are seated on their thrones before God threw themselves down with their faces to the ground<n id="2" /> and worshiped God

and she<n id="1" /> fled into the wilderness<n id="2" /> where a place had been prepared for her<n id="3" /> by God, so she could be taken care of<n id="4" /> for 1,260 days.p>

Then<n id="1" /> the serpent spouted water like a river out of his mouth after the woman in an attempt to<n id="2" /> sweep her away by a flood,

He<n id="1" /> performed momentous signs, even making fire come down from heaven in front of people<n id="2" />

Now<n id="1" /> I heard the angel of the waters saying:p> <p class="poetry">&#8220;You are just<n id="2" /> &#8211; the one who is and who was,p> <p class="poetry">the Holy One &#8211; because you have passed these judgments,<n id="3" />p>

<p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> I heard the altar reply,<n id="2" /> &#8220;Yes, Lord God, the All-Powerful,<n id="3" /> your judgments are true and just!&#8221;p>

They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their sufferings<n id="1" /> and because of their sores,<n id="2" /> but nevertheless<n id="3" /> they still refused to repent<n id="4" /> of their deeds.p>

with whom the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality and the earth&#8217;s inhabitants got drunk with the wine of her immorality.&#8221;<n id="1" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">After these things I saw another angel, who possessed great authority, coming down out of heaven, and the earth was lit up by his radiance.<n id="1" />

<p class="bodytext">The merchants who sold<n id="1" /> these things, who got rich from her, will stand a long way off because they are afraid of her torment. They will weep<n id="2" /> and mourn,

<p class="bodytext">After these things I heard what sounded like the loud voice of a vast throng in heaven, saying,p> <p class="poetry">&#8220;Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,p>

<p class="poetry">Let us rejoice<n id="1" /> and exultp> <p class="poetry">and give him glory,p> <p class="poetry">because the wedding celebration of the Lamb has come,p> <p class="poetry">and his bride has made herself ready.p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> I saw an angel descending from heaven, holding<n id="2" /> in his hand the key to the abyss and a huge chain.

If<n id="1" /> anyone&#8217;s name<n id="2" /> was not found written in the book of life, that person<n id="3" /> was thrown into the lake of fire.p>

The<n id="1" /> wall of the city has twelve foundations, and on them are the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.p>
