You are to attach the two gold chains to the two rings at the ends of the breastpiece;

“You are to present ¹  Aaron and his sons at the entrance of the tent of meeting. You are to wash ²  them with water

So all ¹  the people broke off the gold earrings that were on their ears and brought them to Aaron.

When Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, ¹  he said to Moses, “It is the sound of war in the camp!”

The Lord said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against me – that person I will wipe out of my book.

And Moses ¹  said to him, “If your presence does not go ²  with us, ³  do not take us up from here. ⁴ 

For you must not worship ¹  any other god, ²  for the Lord, whose name ³  is Jealous, is a jealous God.

He made the middle bar to reach from end to end in the center of the frames.

with hangings on one side ¹  of the gate that were twenty-two and a half feet long, with their three posts and their three bases,

“You are to bring ¹  Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tent of meeting and wash them with water.

Moses said ¹  to God, “If ²  I go to the Israelites and tell them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ ³  – what should I say ⁴  to them?”

God also said to Moses, “You must say this to the Israelites, ‘The Lord ¹  – the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob – has sent me to you. This is my name ²  forever, and this is my memorial from generation to generation.’ ³ 

Then Moses said to the Lord, ¹  “O ²  my Lord, ³  I am not an eloquent man, ⁴  neither in the past ⁵  nor since you have spoken to your servant, for I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.” ⁶ 

¹ So Moses went back ²  to his father-in-law Jethro and said to him, “Let me go, so that I may return ³  to my relatives ⁴  in Egypt and see ⁵  if they are still alive.” Jethro said to Moses, “Go in peace.”

The Lord spoke ¹  to Moses and Aaron and gave them a charge ²  for the Israelites and Pharaoh king of Egypt to bring the Israelites out of the land of Egypt.

The Lord spoke to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Extend your hand with your staff ¹  over the rivers, over the canals, and over the ponds, and bring the frogs up over the land of Egypt.’”

¹ The Lord said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Extend your staff and strike the dust of the ground, and it will become ²  gnats ³  throughout all the land of Egypt.’”

Moses said, “I am going to go out ¹  from you and pray to the Lord, and the swarms of flies will go away from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people tomorrow. Only do not let Pharaoh deal falsely again ²  by not releasing ³  the people to sacrifice to the Lord.”

¹ The Lord said ²  to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the heart of his servants, in order to display ³  these signs of mine before him, ⁴ 

Moses said to the people, “Do not fear! ¹  Stand firm ²  and see ³  the salvation ⁴  of the Lord that he will provide ⁵  for you today; for the Egyptians that you see today you will never, ever see again. ⁶
