There was a barrier in front of the alcoves, 1¾ feet<n id="1" /> on either side; the alcoves were 10½ feet<n id="2" /> on either side.

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then he brought me to the outer sanctuary, and measured the jambs; the jambs were 10½ feet<n id="1" /> wide on each side.

<p class="bodytext">Then he went into the inner sanctuary and measured the jambs of the entrance as 3½ feet,<n id="1" /> the entrance as 10½ feet,<n id="2" /> and the width of the entrance as 12¼ feet<n id="3" />

<p class="bodytext">Then he measured the wall of the temple<n id="1" /> as 10½ feet,<n id="2" /> and the width of the side chambers as 7 feet,<n id="3" /> all around the temple.

<p class="bodytext">In the six hundredth year of Noah&#8217;s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month &#8211; on that day all the fountains of the great deep<n id="1" /> burst open and the floodgates of the heavens<n id="2" /> were opened.

You should not consider it difficult to let him go free, for he will have served you for six years, twice<n id="1" /> the time of a hired worker; the <sc>Lordsc> your God will bless you in everything you do.p>

The furnishings included linen and purple curtains hung by cords of the finest linen<n id="1" /> and purple wool on silver rings, alabaster columns, gold and silver couches<n id="2" /> displayed on a floor made of valuable stones of alabaster, mother-of-pearl, and mineral stone.

&#8220;Every seven years each of you must free any fellow Hebrews who have sold themselves to you. After they have served you for six years, you shall set them free.&#8221;<n id="1" /> But your ancestors did not obey me or pay any attention to me.

<p class="bodytext">I saw<n id="1" /> a wall all around the outside of the temple.<n id="2" /> In the man&#8217;s hand was a measuring stick 10½ feet<n id="3" /> long. He measured the thickness of the wall<n id="4" /> as 10½ feet,<n id="5" /> and its height as 10½ feet.

Every day one ox, six select sheep, and some birds were prepared for me, and every ten days all kinds of wine in abundance. Despite all this I did not require the food allotted to the governor, for the work was demanding on this people.p>
