The Lord will deliver me from every evil deed and will bring me safely<n id="1" /> into his heavenly kingdom. To him<n id="2" /> be glory for ever and ever!<n id="3" /> Amen.p>

The Son is<n id="1" /> the radiance of his glory and the representation of his essence, and he sustains all things by his powerful word,<n id="2" /> and so when he had accomplished cleansing for sins, <i>he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on highi>.<n id="3" />

but we see Jesus, who was made <b><i>lower than the angels for a little whilei>b>,<n id="1" /> now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death,<n id="2" /> so that by God&#8217;s grace he would experience<n id="3" /> death on behalf of everyone.

Therefore he had<n id="1" /> to be made like his brothers and sisters<n id="2" /> in every respect, so that he could become a merciful and faithful high priest in things relating to God, to make atonement<n id="3" /> for the sins of the people.

For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any double-edged sword, piercing even to the point of dividing soul from spirit, and joints from marrow; it is able to judge the desires and thoughts of the heart.

The place where they serve is<n id="1" /> a sketch<n id="2" /> and shadow of the heavenly sanctuary, just as Moses was warned by God as he was about to complete the tabernacle. For he says, &#8220;<b><i>See that you make everything according to the designi>b><n id="3" /> <b><i>shown to you on the mountaini>b>.&#8221;<n id="4" />

<p class="otpoetry">&#8220;<b><i>And there will be no need at alli>b><n id="1" /> <i><b>for each one to teach his countryman or each one to teach his brother sayingb>,i> &#8216;<i><b>Know the Lordb>,i>&#8217; <i><b>since they will all know meb>, <b>from the least to the greatestb>.i><n id="2" />p>

These all died in faith without receiving the things promised,<n id="1" /> but they saw them in the distance and welcomed them and acknowledged that they were strangers and foreigners<n id="2" /> on the earth.

<t /><p class="bodytext">Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses,<n id="1" /> we must get rid of every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and run with endurance the race set out for us,

equip you with every good thing to do his will, working in us<n id="1" /> what is pleasing before him through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever.<n id="2" /> Amen.p>

And above all, my brothers and sisters,<n id="1" /> do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or by any other oath. But let your &#8220;Yes&#8221; be yes and your &#8220;No&#8221; be no, so that you may not fall into judgment.p>

But set Christ<n id="1" /> apart<n id="2" /> as Lord in your hearts and always be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks about the hope you possess.<n id="3" />

speaking of these things in all his letters.<n id="1" /> Some things in these letters<n id="2" /> are hard to understand, things<n id="3" /> the ignorant and unstable twist<n id="4" /> to their own destruction, as they also do to the rest of the scriptures.<n id="5" />

But if we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses<n id="1" /> us from all sin.<n id="2" />

because all that is in the world (the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the arrogance produced by material possessions)<n id="1" /> is not from the Father, but is from the world.

They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us, because if they had belonged to us, they would have remained<n id="1" /> with us. But<n id="2" /> they went out from us<n id="3" /> to demonstrate<n id="4" /> that all of them do not belong to us.<n id="5" />p>

Everyone who has been fathered<n id="1" /> by God does not practice sin,<n id="2" /> because<n id="3" /> God&#8217;s<n id="4" /> seed<n id="5" /> resides in him, and thus<n id="6" /> he is not able to sin, because he has been fathered by God.

By this<n id="1" /> the children of God and the children of the devil are revealed: Everyone who does not practice righteousness &#8211; the one who does not love his fellow Christian<n id="2" /> &#8211; is not of God.p>

but<n id="1" /> every spirit that does not confess<n id="2" /> Jesus<n id="3" /> is not from God, and this is the spirit<n id="4" /> of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and now is already in the world.p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">Dear friends, let us love one another, because<n id="1" /> love is from God, and everyone who loves<n id="2" /> has been fathered<n id="3" /> by God and knows God.
