Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ<n id="1" /> has been fathered<n id="2" /> by God, and everyone who loves the father<n id="3" /> loves the child fathered by him.<n id="4" />

<p class="bodytext">If we accept the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, because<n id="1" /> this<n id="2" /> is the testimony of God that<n id="3" /> he has testified concerning his Son.

If<n id="1" /> anyone sees his fellow Christian<n id="2" /> committing a sin not resulting in death,<n id="3" /> he should ask, and God<n id="4" /> will grant<n id="5" /> life to the person who commits a sin not resulting in death.<n id="6" /> There is a sin resulting in death.<n id="7" /> I do not say that he should ask about that.

<p class="bodytext">We know that everyone fathered<n id="1" /> by God does not sin, but God<n id="2" /> protects<n id="3" /> the one he has fathered, and the evil one cannot touch him.

(Now this is love: that we walk<n id="1" /> according to his commandments.) This is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning; thus<n id="2" /> you should walk in it.<n id="3" />

to execute judgment on<n id="1" /> all, and to convict every person<n id="2" /> of all their thoroughly ungodly deeds<n id="3" /> that they have committed,<n id="4" /> and of all the harsh words that ungodly sinners have spoken against him.&#8221;<n id="5" />

<p class="bodytext">From John,<n id="1" /> to the seven churches that are in the province of Asia:<n id="2" /> Grace and peace to you<n id="3" /> from &#8220;he who is,&#8221;<n id="4" /> and who was, and who is still to come,<n id="5" /> and from the seven spirits who are before his throne,

and from Jesus Christ &#8211; the faithful<n id="1" /> witness,<n id="2" /> the firstborn from among the dead, the ruler over the kings of the earth. To the one who loves us and has set us free<n id="3" /> from our sins at the cost of<n id="4" /> his own blood

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;To the angel of the church in Ephesus,<n id="1" /> write the following:<n id="2" />p> <p class="bodytext">&#8220;This is the solemn pronouncement of<n id="3" /> the one who has a firm grasp on<n id="4" /> the seven stars in his right hand<n id="5" /> &#8211; the one who walks among the seven golden<n id="6" /> lampstands:

Listen!<n id="1" /> I am standing at the door and knocking! If anyone hears my voice and opens the door I will come into his home<n id="2" /> and share a meal with him, and he with me.

I will grant the one<n id="1" /> who conquers<n id="2" /> permission<n id="3" /> to sit with me on my throne, just as I too conquered<n id="4" /> and sat down with my Father on his throne.

Then<n id="1" /> one of the elders said<n id="2" /> to me, &#8220;Stop weeping!<n id="3" /> Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has conquered;<n id="4" /> thus he can open<n id="5" /> the scroll and its seven seals.&#8221;p>

<p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> when the Lamb opened the third seal I heard the third living creature saying, &#8220;Come!&#8221; So<n id="2" /> I looked,<n id="3" /> and here came<n id="4" /> a black horse! The<n id="5" /> one who rode it<n id="6" /> had a balance scale<n id="7" /> in his hand.

For this reason they are before the throne of God, and they serve<n id="1" /> him day and night in his temple, and the one seated on the throne will shelter them.<n id="2" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven saying:p> <p class="poetry">&#8220;The kingdom of the worldp> <p class="poetry">has become the kingdom of our Lordp> <p class="poetry">and of his Christ,<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">and he will reign for ever and ever.&#8221;p>

Then<n id="1" /> another sign appeared in heaven: a huge red dragon that had seven heads and ten horns, and on its heads were seven diadem crowns.<n id="2" />

So<n id="1" /> the woman gave birth to a son, a male child,<n id="2" /> who is going <i>to rulei><n id="3" /> <i>over all the nationsi><n id="4" /> <i>with an iron rodi>.<n id="5" /> Her<n id="6" /> child was suddenly caught up to God and to his throne,

but<n id="1" /> the earth came to her rescue;<n id="2" /> the ground opened up<n id="3" /> and swallowed the river that the dragon had spewed from his mouth.

they worshiped the dragon because he had given ruling authority<n id="1" /> to the beast, and they worshiped the beast too, saying: &#8220;Who is like the beast?&#8221; and &#8220;Who is able to make war against him?&#8221;<n id="2" />

and all those who live on the earth will worship the beast,<n id="1" /> everyone whose name has not been written since the foundation of the world<n id="2" /> in the book of life belonging to the Lamb who was killed.<n id="3" />
