When the seven thunders spoke, I was preparing to write, but<n id="1" /> just then<n id="2" /> I heard a voice from heaven say, &#8220;Seal up what the seven thunders spoke and do not write it down.&#8221;

<p class="bodytext">Next,<n id="1" /> the second angel<n id="2" /> poured out his bowl on the sea and it turned into blood, like that of a corpse, and every living creature that was in the sea died.p>

Then<n id="1" /> there were flashes of lightning, roaring,<n id="2" /> and crashes of thunder, and there was a tremendous earthquake &#8211; an earthquake unequaled since humanity<n id="3" /> has been on the earth, so tremendous was that earthquake.

And gigantic hailstones, weighing about a hundred pounds<n id="1" /> each, fell from heaven<n id="2" /> on people,<n id="3" /> but they<n id="4" /> blasphemed God because of the plague of hail, since it<n id="5" /> was so horrendous.<n id="6" />p>

Now<n id="1" /> the woman was dressed in purple and scarlet clothing,<n id="2" /> and adorned with gold,<n id="3" /> precious stones, and pearls. She held<n id="4" /> in her hand a golden cup filled with detestable things and unclean things from her sexual immorality.<n id="5" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> I heard what sounded like the voice of a vast throng, like the roar of many waters and like loud crashes of thunder. They were shouting:<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">&#8220;Hallelujah!p> <p class="poetry">For the Lord our God,<n id="3" /> the All-Powerful,<n id="4" /> reigns!p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> I saw heaven opened and here came<n id="2" /> a white horse! The<n id="3" /> one riding it was called &#8220;Faithful&#8221; and &#8220;True,&#8221; and with justice<n id="4" /> he judges and goes to war.

<p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> I saw one angel standing in<n id="2" /> the sun, and he shouted in a loud voice to all the birds flying high in the sky:<n id="3" />p> <p class="poetry">&#8220;Come, gather around for the great banquet<n id="4" /> of God,p>

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying: &#8220;Look! The residence<n id="1" /> of God is among human beings.<n id="2" /> He<n id="3" /> will live among them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them.<n id="4" />

&#8216;I know the distress you are suffering<n id="1" /> and your poverty (but you are rich). I also know<n id="2" /> the slander against you<n id="3" /> by those who call themselves Jews and really are not, but are a synagogue<n id="4" /> of Satan.

He declared<n id="1" /> in a loud voice: &#8220;Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has arrived, and worship the one who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water!&#8221;p>

It has<n id="1" /> a massive, high wall<n id="2" /> with twelve gates,<n id="3" /> with twelve angels at the gates, and the names of the twelve tribes of the nation of Israel<n id="4" /> are written on the gates.<n id="5" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;To<n id="1" /> the angel of the church in Thyatira write the following:<n id="2" />p> <p class="bodytext">&#8220;This is the solemn pronouncement of<n id="3" /> the Son of God, the one who has eyes like a fiery flame<n id="4" /> and whose feet are like polished bronze:<n id="5" />

But<n id="1" /> he said to me, &#8220;Do not do this!<n id="2" /> I am a fellow servant<n id="3" /> with you and with your brothers the prophets, and with those who obey<n id="4" /> the words of this book. Worship God!&#8221;

<p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> the temple of God in heaven was opened and the ark of his covenant was visible within his temple. And there were flashes of lightning, roaring,<n id="2" /> crashes of thunder, an earthquake, and a great hailstorm.<n id="3" />p>

Now<n id="1" /> the city is laid out as a square,<n id="2" /> its length and width the same. He<n id="3" /> measured the city with the measuring rod<n id="4" /> at fourteen hundred miles<n id="5" /> (its length and width and height are equal).

The<n id="1" /> ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but will receive ruling authority<n id="2" /> as kings with the beast for one hour.

<p class="bodytext">The merchants who sold<n id="1" /> these things, who got rich from her, will stand a long way off because they are afraid of her torment. They will weep<n id="2" /> and mourn,

For this reason, she will experience her plagues<n id="1" /> in a single day: disease,<n id="2" /> mourning,<n id="3" /> and famine, and she will be burned down<n id="4" /> with fire, because the Lord God who judges her is powerful!&#8221;p>

Blessed and holy is the one who takes part<n id="1" /> in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them,<n id="2" /> but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.p>
