And immediately the man<n id="1" /> stood up, took his stretcher, and went out in front of them all. They were all amazed and glorified God, saying, &#8220;We have never seen anything like this!&#8221;p>

So<n id="1" /> she went out and said to her mother, &#8220;What should I ask for?&#8221; Her mother<n id="2" /> said, &#8220;The head of John the baptizer.&#8221;<n id="3" />

As Jesus<n id="1" /> came ashore<n id="2" /> he saw the large crowd and he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So<n id="3" /> he taught them many things.p>

She went home and found the child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> Jesus<n id="2" /> went out again from the region of Tyre<n id="3" /> and came through Sidon<n id="4" /> to the Sea of Galilee in the region of the Decapolis.<n id="5" />

Then<n id="1" /> Jesus<n id="2" /> entered Jerusalem and went to the temple. And after looking around at everything, he went out to Bethany with the twelve since it was already late.p>

So<n id="1" /> the disciples left, went<n id="2" /> into the city, and found things just as he had told them,<n id="3" /> and they prepared the Passover.p>

But he denied it:<n id="1" /> &#8220;I don&#8217;t even understand what you&#8217;re talking about!&#8221;<n id="2" /> Then<n id="3" /> he went out to the gateway, and a rooster crowed.<n id="4" />

Then<n id="1" /> they went out and ran from the tomb, for terror and bewilderment had seized them.<n id="2" /> And they said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.p>

But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus&#8217; knees, saying, &#8220;Go away from me, Lord,<n id="1" /> for I am a sinful man!&#8221;<n id="2" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">After<n id="1" /> this, Jesus<n id="2" /> went out and saw a tax collector<n id="3" /> named Levi<n id="4" /> sitting at the tax booth.<n id="5" /> &#8220;Follow me,&#8221;<n id="6" /> he said to him.

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now<n id="1" /> it was during this time that Jesus<n id="2" /> went out to the mountain<n id="3" /> to pray, and he spent all night<n id="4" /> in prayer to God.<n id="5" />

<p class="bodytext">When<n id="1" /> John&#8217;s messengers had gone, Jesus<n id="2" /> began to speak to the crowds about John: &#8220;What did you go out into the wilderness<n id="3" /> to see? A reed shaken by the wind?<n id="4" />

What<n id="1" /> did you go out to see? A man dressed in fancy<n id="2" /> clothes?<n id="3" /> Look, those who wear fancy clothes and live in luxury<n id="4" /> are in kings&#8217; courts!<n id="5" />

and also some women<n id="1" /> who had been healed of evil spirits and disabilities:<n id="2" /> Mary<n id="3" /> (called Magdalene), from whom seven demons had gone out,

So<n id="1" /> the demons came out of the man and went into the pigs, and the herd of pigs<n id="2" /> rushed down the steep slope into the lake and drowned.

The man from whom the demons had gone out begged to go<n id="1" /> with him, but Jesus<n id="2" /> sent him away, saying,

Wherever<n id="1" /> they do not receive you,<n id="2" /> as you leave that town,<n id="3" /> shake the dust off<n id="4" /> your feet as a testimony against them.&#8221;
