I became a servant of this gospel<n id="1" /> according to the gift of God&#8217;s grace that was given to me by<n id="2" /> the exercise of his power.<n id="3" />

To me &#8211; less than the least of all the saints<n id="1" /> &#8211; this grace was given,<n id="2" /> to proclaim to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ

For what credit is it if you sin and are mistreated and endure it? But if you do good and suffer and so endure, this finds favor with God.<n id="1" />

And, after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace who called you to his eternal glory in Christ<n id="1" /> will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.<n id="2" />

But grow in the grace and knowledge<n id="1" /> of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the honor both now and on<n id="2" /> that eternal day.<n id="3" />p>

Grace, mercy, and<n id="1" /> peace will be with us from God the Father and from<n id="2" /> Jesus Christ the Son of the Father, in truth and love.p>

But the gracious gift is not like the transgression.<n id="1" /> For if the many died through the transgression of the one man,<n id="2" /> how much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man Jesus Christ multiply to the many!

All<n id="1" /> were speaking well of him, and were amazed at the gracious words coming out of his mouth. They<n id="2" /> said, &#8220;Isn&#8217;t this<n id="3" /> Joseph&#8217;s son?&#8221;

and rescued him from all his troubles, and granted him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, who made<n id="1" /> him ruler over Egypt and over all his household.

When the meeting of the synagogue<n id="1" /> had broken up,<n id="2" /> many of the Jews and God-fearing proselytes<n id="3" /> followed Paul and Barnabas, who were speaking with them and were persuading<n id="4" /> them<n id="5" /> to continue<n id="6" /> in the grace of God.p>

So they stayed there<n id="1" /> for a considerable time, speaking out courageously for the Lord, who testified<n id="2" /> to the message<n id="3" /> of his grace, granting miraculous signs<n id="4" /> and wonders to be performed through their hands.
