<t /><p class="bodytext">Jesus<n id="1" /> also said to the disciples, &#8220;There was a rich man who was informed of accusations<n id="2" /> that his manager<n id="3" /> was wasting<n id="4" /> his assets.

The king<n id="1" /> said to him, &#8216;I will judge you by your own words,<n id="2" /> you wicked slave!<n id="3" /> So you knew, did you, that I was a severe<n id="4" /> man, withdrawing what I didn&#8217;t deposit and reaping what I didn&#8217;t sow?

He said to them, &#8220;Listen,<n id="1" /> when you have entered the city, a man carrying a jar of water<n id="2" /> will meet you.<n id="3" /> Follow him into the house that he enters,

Nicodemus said to him, &#8220;How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter his mother&#8217;s womb and be born a second time, can he?&#8221;<n id="1" />p>

Jesus told him, &#8220;Go home;<n id="1" /> your son will live.&#8221; The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and set off for home.<n id="2" />p>

He replied,<n id="1" /> &#8220;The man called Jesus made mud,<n id="2" /> smeared it<n id="3" /> on my eyes and told me,<n id="4" /> &#8216;Go to Siloam and wash.&#8217; So I went and washed, and was able to see.&#8221;<n id="5" />

<p class="bodytext">Then they summoned<n id="1" /> the man who used to be blind<n id="2" /> a second time and said to him, &#8220;Promise before God to tell the truth.<n id="3" /> We know that this man<n id="4" /> is a sinner.&#8221;

The man replied,<n id="1" /> &#8220;This is a remarkable thing,<n id="2" /> that you don&#8217;t know where he comes from, and yet he caused me to see!<n id="3" />

When a woman gives birth, she has distress<n id="1" /> because her time<n id="2" /> has come, but when her child is born, she no longer remembers the suffering because of her joy that a human being<n id="3" /> has been born into the world.<n id="4" />

Then the man who was possessed by<n id="1" /> the evil spirit jumped on<n id="2" /> them and beat them all into submission.<n id="3" /> He prevailed<n id="4" /> against them so that they fled from that house naked and wounded.

Paul answered,<n id="1" /> &#8220;I am a Jew<n id="2" /> from Tarsus in Cilicia, a citizen of an important city.<n id="3" /> Please<n id="4" /> allow me to speak to the people.&#8221;

When the local people<n id="1" /> saw the creature hanging from Paul&#8217;s<n id="2" /> hand, they said to one another, &#8220;No doubt this man is a murderer! Although he has escaped from the sea, Justice herself<n id="3" /> has not allowed him to live!&#8221;<n id="4" />

Absolutely not! Let God be proven true, and every human being<n id="1" /> shown up as a liar,<n id="2" /> just as it is written: &#8220;<b><i>so that you will be justifiedi>b><n id="3" /> <b><i>in your words and will prevail when you are judgedi>b>.&#8221;<n id="4" />p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">Brothers and sisters,<n id="1" /> if a person<n id="2" /> is discovered in some sin,<n id="3" /> you who are spiritual<n id="4" /> restore such a person in a spirit of gentleness.<n id="5" /> Pay close attention<n id="6" /> to yourselves, so that you are not tempted too.

Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not arrive until the rebellion comes<n id="1" /> and the man of lawlessness<n id="2" /> is revealed, the son of destruction.<n id="3" />

shouting, &#8220;Men of Israel,<n id="1" /> help! This is the man who teaches everyone everywhere against our people, our law,<n id="2" /> and this sanctuary!<n id="3" /> Furthermore<n id="4" /> he has brought Greeks into the inner courts of the temple<n id="5" /> and made this holy place ritually unclean!&#8221;<n id="6" />

yet we know<n id="1" /> that no one<n id="2" /> is justified by the works of the law<n id="3" /> but by the faithfulness of Jesus Christ.<n id="4" /> And<n id="5" /> we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by the faithfulness of Christ<n id="6" /> and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one<n id="7" /> will be justified.
