So I asked,<n id="1" /> &#8216;What should I do, Lord?&#8217; The Lord said to me, &#8216;Get up<n id="2" /> and go to Damascus; there you will be told about everything<n id="3" /> that you have been designated<n id="4" /> to do.&#8217;

If then I am in the wrong<n id="1" /> and have done anything that deserves death, I am not trying to escape dying,<n id="2" /> but if not one of their charges against me is true,<n id="3" /> no one can hand me over to them.<n id="4" /> I appeal to Caesar!&#8221;<n id="5" />

I have experienced<n id="1" /> help from God to this day, and so I stand testifying to both small and great, saying nothing except<n id="2" /> what the prophets and Moses said<n id="3" /> was going to happen:

And why not say, &#8220;Let us do evil so that good may come of it&#8221;? &#8211; as some who slander us allege that we say.<n id="1" /> (Their<n id="2" /> condemnation is deserved!)p>

To the Jews I became like a Jew to gain the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law)<n id="1" /> to gain those under the law.

But if we are afflicted,<n id="1" /> it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort that you experience in your patient endurance of the same sufferings that we also suffer.

Each one of the four living creatures had six wings<n id="1" /> and was full of eyes all around and inside.<n id="2" /> They never rest day or night, saying:<n id="3" />p> <p class="poetry">&#8220;<i><b>Holy Holy Holy is the Lord God, the All-Powerfulb>,i><n id="4" />p> <p class="poetry">Who was and who is, and who is still to come!&#8221;p>

The beast you saw was, and is not, but is about to come up from the abyss<n id="1" /> and then go to destruction. The<n id="2" /> inhabitants of the earth &#8211; all those whose names have not been written in the book of life since the foundation of the world &#8211; will be astounded when they see that<n id="3" /> the beast was, and is not, but is to come.
