then if anything is done unintentionally<n id="1" /> without the knowledge of<n id="2" /> the community, the whole community must prepare one young bull for a burnt offering &#8211; for a pleasing aroma to the <sc>Lordsc> &#8211; along with its grain offering and its customary drink offering, and one male goat for a purification offering.

Then he said to Korah and to all his company, &#8220;In the morning the <sc>Lordsc> will make known who are his, and who is holy. He will cause that person<n id="1" /> to approach him; the person he has chosen he will cause to approach him.

You must offer a burnt offering, an offering made by fire as a pleasing aroma to the <sc>Lordsc>: thirteen young bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs each one year old, all of them without blemish.

Then the elders of the city nearest to the corpse<n id="1" /> must take from the herd a heifer that has not been worked &#8211; that has never pulled with the yoke &#8211;

He took a pair<n id="1" /> of oxen and cut them up. Then he sent the pieces throughout the territory of Israel by the hand of messengers, who said, &#8220;Whoever does not go out after Saul and after Samuel should expect this to be done to his oxen!&#8221; Then the terror of the <sc>Lordsc> fell on the people, and they went out as one army.<n id="2" />

&#8220;The Sea&#8221; stood on top of twelve bulls. Three faced northward, three westward, three southward, and three eastward. &#8220;The Sea&#8221; was placed on top of them, and they all faced outward.<n id="1" />

Solomon offered as peace offerings<n id="1" /> to the <sc>Lordsc> 22,000 cattle and 120,000 sheep. Then the king and all the Israelites dedicated the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s temple.

But you banished<n id="1" /> the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s priests, Aaron&#8217;s descendants, and the Levites, and appointed your own priests just as the surrounding nations do! Anyone who comes to consecrate himself with a young bull or seven rams becomes a priest of these fake gods!<n id="2" />

The Israelites and people of Judah<n id="1" /> who lived in the cities of Judah also contributed a tenth of their cattle and sheep, as well as a tenth of the holy items consecrated to the <sc>Lordsc> their God. They brought them and placed them in many heaps.<n id="2" />

His possessions<n id="1" /> included<n id="2" /> 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen, and 500 female donkeys; in addition he had a very great household.<n id="3" /> Thus he<n id="4" /> was the greatest of all the people in the east.<n id="5" />p>

<p class="bodytext">So the <sc>Lordsc> blessed the second part of Job&#8217;s life more than the first. He had 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 yoke of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys.
