<p class="bodytext">Pharaoh said, &#8220;I will release you<n id="1" /> so that you may sacrifice<n id="2" /> to the <sc>Lordsc> your God in the desert. Only you must not go very far.<n id="3" /> Do<n id="4" /> pray for me.&#8221;p>

So I must die here in this land; I will not cross the Jordan. But you are going over and will possess that<n id="1" /> good land.

<t /><p class="bodytext">Be sure you do not forget the <sc>Lordsc> your God by not keeping his commandments, ordinances, and statutes that I am giving you today.

the blessing if you take to heart<n id="1" /> the commandments of the <sc>Lordsc> your God that I am giving you today,

for you may do so<n id="1" /> only in the place the <sc>Lordsc> chooses in one of your tribal areas &#8211; there you may do everything I am commanding you.<n id="2" />p>

Then if you and your descendants<n id="1" /> turn to the <sc>Lordsc> your God and obey him with your whole mind and being<n id="2" /> just as<n id="3" /> I am commanding you today,
