How blessed are those who ¹  find their strength in you, and long to travel the roads that lead to your temple! ² 

What the righteous say ¹  is like ²  the best ³  silver, but what the wicked think ⁴  is of little value. ⁵ 

The Lord abhors ¹  those who are perverse in heart, ²  but those who are blameless in their ways ³  are his delight. ⁴ 

A person ¹  is praised in accordance with ²  his wisdom, but the one who has a twisted mind ³  is despised.

As the heaven is high ¹  and the earth is deep so the hearts of kings are unsearchable. ² 

When ¹  a sentence ²  is not executed ³  at once against a crime, ⁴  the human heart ⁵  is encouraged to do evil. ⁶ 

Turn aside from the way, stray off the path. ¹  Remove from our presence the Holy One of Israel.” ² 

The mind that acts rashly will possess discernment ¹  and the tongue that stutters will speak with ease and clarity.

When they have drunk it, they will stagger to and fro ¹  and act insane. For I will send wars sweeping through them.” ² 

I will do this in order to capture the hearts of the house of Israel, who have alienated themselves from me on account of all their idols.’

When Jesus saw their reaction he said, “Why do you respond with evil in your hearts?

I have not come ¹  to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” ² 

Then ¹  the rich man ²  said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone from the dead ³  goes to them, they will repent.’

Then ¹  he said to them, “Why are you frightened, ²  and why do doubts ³  arise in your hearts?

His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal ¹  for your house will devour me.” ² 

Therefore, although God has overlooked ¹  such times of ignorance, ²  he now commands all people ³  everywhere to repent, ⁴ 

Love must be ¹  without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil, cling to what is good.

Brothers and sisters, ¹  do not be children in your thinking. Instead, be infants in evil, but in your thinking be mature.

So I want the men ¹  to pray ²  in every place, lifting up holy hands ³  without anger or dispute.

By professing it, some have strayed from the faith. ¹  Grace be with you all. ²
