What has been done ¹  on this day the Lord has commanded to be done ²  to make atonement for you.

There will be one regulation ¹  for you, whether a foreigner or a native citizen, for I am the Lord your God.’”

“‘When you enter the land and plant any fruit tree, ¹  you must consider its fruit to be forbidden. ²  Three years it will be forbidden to you; ³  it must not be eaten.

You must put pure frankincense ¹  on each row, ²  and it will become a memorial portion ³  for the bread, a gift ⁴  to the Lord.

“‘If your brother becomes impoverished with regard to you so that he sells himself to you, you must not subject him to slave service. ¹ 

“He will then make one of the turtledoves ¹  or young pigeons, which are within his means, ² 

Then Aaron is to present the sin offering bull which is for himself and is to make atonement on behalf of himself and his household.

Aaron must then present the goat which has been designated by lot for the Lord, ¹  and he is to make it a sin offering,

“‘When a woman’s discharge of blood flows ¹  many days not at the time of her menstruation, or if it flows beyond the time of her menstruation, ²  all the days of her discharge of impurity will be like the days of her menstruation – she is unclean.

You must also offer ¹  one male goat ²  for a sin offering and two yearling lambs for a peace offering sacrifice,

“‘If what is vowed is a kind of animal from which an offering may be presented ¹  to the Lord, anything which he gives to the Lord from this kind of animal ²  will be holy.

When it reverts ¹  in the jubilee, the field will be holy to the Lord like a permanently dedicated field; ²  it will become the priest’s property. ³ 

and he must bring his penalty for guilt ¹  to the Lord for his sin that he has committed, a female from the flock, whether a female sheep or a female goat, for a sin offering. So the priest will make atonement ²  on his behalf for ³  his sin.

So the priest will make atonement ¹  on his behalf for his sin which he has committed by doing one of these things, ²  and he will be forgiven. ³  The remainder of the offering ⁴  will belong to the priest like the grain offering.’” ⁵ 

Then he presented the people’s offering. He took the sin offering male goat which was for the people, slaughtered it, and performed a decontamination rite with it ¹  like the first one. ² 

“Aaron is to present the sin offering bull which is for himself, and he is to make atonement on behalf of himself and his household. He is to slaughter the sin offering bull which is for himself,

But the hide of the bull, all its flesh along with its head and its legs, its entrails, and its dung –

“‘You must not approach a woman in her menstrual impurity ¹  to have sexual intercourse with her.

He must bring his guilt offering to the Lord at the entrance of the Meeting Tent, a guilt offering ram, ¹ 

He may eat both the most holy and the holy food of his God,
