<p class="poetry">The anger of the <sc>Lordsc> will not turn backp> <p class="poetry">until he has fully carried out his intended purposes.<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">In days to come<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">you people will come to understand this clearly.<n id="3" />p>

One basket had very good-looking figs in it. They looked like those that had ripened early.<n id="1" /> The other basket had very bad-looking figs in it, so bad they could not be eaten.

Nor will the Levitical priests ever lack someone to stand before me and continually offer up burnt offerings, sacrifice cereal offerings, and offer the other sacrifices.&#8221;&#8217;&#8221;<n id="1" />p>

However, listen to what I, the <sc>Lordsc>, promise you, King Zedekiah of Judah. I, the <sc>Lordsc>, promise that<n id="1" /> you will not die in battle or be executed.<n id="2" />

Yes,<n id="1" /> the descendants of Jonadab son of Rechab have carried out the orders that their ancestor gave them. But you people<n id="2" /> have not obeyed me!

So the <sc>Lordsc> God of Israel who rules over all says, &#8216;Jonadab son of Rechab will never lack a male descendant to serve me.&#8217;&#8221;<n id="1" />p>

Moreover, I, the <sc>Lordsc>, warn you not to deceive yourselves into thinking that the Babylonian forces<n id="1" /> will go away and leave you alone. For they will not go away.<n id="2" />
