Now, O <sc>Lordsc> our God, rescue us from his power, so that all the kingdoms of the earth will know that you, <sc>Lordsc>, are the only God.&#8221;p>

So now, O <sc>Lordsc>, may the promise you made about your servant and his family become a permanent reality!<n id="1" /> Do as you promised,<n id="2" />

Now you are willing to bless your servant&#8217;s dynasty<n id="1" /> so that it may stand permanently before you, for you, O <sc>Lordsc>, have blessed it and it will be blessed from now on into the future.&#8221;<n id="2" />p>

Now ascend, O <sc>Lordsc> God, to your resting place, you and the ark of your strength! May your priests, O <sc>Lordsc> God, experience your deliverance!<n id="1" /> May your loyal followers rejoice in the prosperity you give!<n id="2" />

Now I have chosen and consecrated this temple by making it my permanent home;<n id="1" /> I will be constantly present there.<n id="2" />

&#8220;Your father made us work too hard!<n id="1" /> Now if you lighten the demands he made and don&#8217;t make us work as hard, we will serve you.&#8221;<n id="2" />

Respect the <sc>Lordsc> and make careful decisions, for the <sc>Lordsc> our God disapproves of injustice, partiality, and bribery.&#8221;<n id="1" />p>

And now you are planning<n id="1" /> to enslave<n id="2" /> the people<n id="3" /> of Judah and Jerusalem. Yet are you not also guilty before the <sc>Lordsc> your God?

Therefore let us enact<n id="1" /> a covenant with our God to send away all these women and their offspring, in keeping with your counsel, my lord,<n id="2" /> and that of those who respect<n id="3" /> the commandments of our God. And let it be done according to the law.
