It will be a holy portion of the land; it will be for the priests, the ministers of the sanctuary who approach the <sc>Lordsc> to minister to him. It will be a place for their houses and a holy place for the sanctuary.<n id="1" />

On the south side it will run from Tamar to the waters of Meribath Kadesh, the river,<n id="1" /> to the Great Sea. This is the south side.

Next to the border of Gad, at the south side, the border will run from Tamar to the waters of Meribath Kadesh, to the Stream of Egypt<n id="1" /> and on to the Great Sea.

<t /><p class="bodytext">While I was still speaking and praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel and presenting my request before the <sc>LORDsc> my God concerning his holy mountain<n id="1" /> &#8211;

The ships of Kittim<n id="1" /> will come against him, leaving him disheartened.<n id="2" /> He will turn back and direct his indignation against the holy covenant. He will return and honor<n id="3" /> those who forsake the holy covenant.

He will pitch his royal tents between the seas<n id="1" /> toward the beautiful holy mountain. But he will come to his end, with no one to help him.p>

<t /><p class="poetry">You will be convinced<n id="1" /> that I the <sc>Lordsc> am your God,p> <p class="poetry">dwelling on Zion, my holy mountain.p> <p class="poetry">Jerusalem<n id="2" /> will be holy &#8211;p> <p class="poetry">conquering armies<n id="3" /> will no longer pass through it.p>

<p class="bodytext">On that day the bells of the horses will bear the inscription &#8220;<sc>Holy to the Lordsc>.&#8221; The cooking pots in the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s temple<n id="1" /> will be as holy as the bowls in front of the altar.<n id="2" />

Judah has become disloyal, and unspeakable sins have been committed in Israel and Jerusalem.<n id="1" /> For Judah has profaned<n id="2" /> the holy things that the <sc>Lordsc> loves and has turned to a foreign god!<n id="3" />

He said to them, &#8220;This is what the <sc>Lordsc> has said: &#8216;Tomorrow is a time of cessation from work,<n id="1" /> a holy Sabbath<n id="2" /> to the <sc>Lordsc>. Whatever you want to<n id="3" /> bake, bake today;<n id="4" /> whatever you want to boil, boil today; whatever is left put aside for yourselves to be kept until morning.&#8217;&#8221;p>

You are to hang this curtain under the clasps and bring the ark of the testimony in there behind the curtain.<n id="1" /> The curtain will make a division for you between the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place.<n id="2" />

Now these are the garments that they are to make: a breastpiece,<n id="1" /> an ephod,<n id="2" /> a robe, a fitted<n id="3" /> tunic, a turban, and a sash. They are to make holy garments for your brother Aaron and for his sons, that they may minister as my priests.

So you must keep the Sabbath, for it is holy for you. Everyone who defiles it<n id="1" /> must surely be put to death; indeed,<n id="2" /> if anyone does<n id="3" /> any<n id="4" /> work on it, then that person will be cut off from among his<n id="5" /> people.

&#8220;Tell Aaron and his sons, &#8216;This is the law of the sin offering. In the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered the sin offering must be slaughtered before the <sc>Lordsc>. It is most holy.<n id="1" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then Moses spoke to Aaron and to Eleazar and Ithamar, his remaining sons, &#8220;Take the grain offering which remains from the gifts of the <sc>Lordsc> and eat it unleavened beside the altar, for it is most holy.

&#8220;Why did you not eat the sin offering in the sanctuary? For it is most holy and he gave it to you to bear the iniquity of the congregation,<n id="1" /> to make atonement on their behalf before the <sc>Lordsc>.

Then she will remain<n id="1" /> thirty-three days in blood purity.<n id="2" /> She must not touch anything holy and she must not enter the sanctuary until the days of her purification are fulfilled.<n id="3" />

He must then slaughter<n id="1" /> the male lamb in the place where<n id="2" /> the sin offering<n id="3" /> and the burnt offering<n id="4" /> are slaughtered,<n id="5" /> in the sanctuary, because, like the sin offering, the guilt offering belongs to the priest;<n id="6" /> it is most holy.

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;Six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there must be a Sabbath of complete rest,<n id="1" /> a holy assembly. You must not do any work; it is a Sabbath to the <sc>Lordsc> in all the places where you live.p>

For seven days you must present a gift to the <sc>Lordsc>. On the eighth day there is to be a holy assembly for you, and you must present a gift to the <sc>Lordsc>. It is a solemn assembly day;<n id="1" /> you must not do any regular work.p>
