Every day I am in danger of death! This is as sure as ¹  my boasting in you, ²  which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Fool! What you sow will not come to life unless it dies.

because a door of great opportunity stands wide open for me, ¹  but there are many opponents.

also to submit to people like this, and to everyone who cooperates in the work and labors hard.

I urge you, brothers and sisters, ¹  by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to agree together, ²  to end your divisions, ³  and to be united by the same mind and purpose. ⁴ 

So then, do not judge anything before the time. Wait until the Lord comes. He will ¹  bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the motives of hearts. Then each will receive recognition ²  from God.

He is the reason you have a relationship with Christ Jesus, ¹  who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption,

None of the rulers of this age understood it. If they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

For the wisdom of this age is foolishness with God. As it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness.” ¹ 

when people lie about us, we answer in a friendly manner. We are the world’s dirt and scum, even now.

And I want you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the things of the Lord, how to please the Lord.

With regard to food sacrificed to idols, we know that “we all have knowledge.” ¹  Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.

For I do not want you to be unaware, ¹  brothers and sisters, ²  that our fathers were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea,

But I want you to know that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, ¹  and God is the head of Christ.

Now in giving the following instruction I do not praise you, because you come together not for the better but for the worse.

If the whole body were an eye, what part would do the hearing? If the whole were an ear, what part would exercise the sense of smell?

For I passed on to you as of first importance ¹  what I also received – that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures,

And just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, let us also bear ¹  the image of the man of heaven.

for you are still influenced by the flesh. ¹  For since there is still jealousy and dissension among you, are you not influenced by the flesh and behaving like unregenerate people? ² 

Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you not competent to settle trivial suits?
