What has been done ¹  on this day the Lord has commanded to be done ²  to make atonement for you.

I am the Lord your God who brought you out from the land of Egypt, from being their slaves, ¹  and I broke the bars of your yoke and caused you to walk upright. ² 

(and I myself will walk in hostility against them and bring them into the land of their enemies), and ¹  then their uncircumcised hearts become humbled and they make up for ²  their iniquity,

The law is the same for the sin offering and the guilt offering; ¹  it belongs to the priest who makes atonement with it.

“Command the Israelites to bring ¹  to you pure oil of beaten olives for the light, to make a lamp burn continually. ² 

When Moses heard this explanation, he was satisfied. ¹ 

He must then slaughter ¹  the male lamb in the place where ²  the sin offering ³  and the burnt offering ⁴  are slaughtered, ⁵  in the sanctuary, because, like the sin offering, the guilt offering belongs to the priest; ⁶  it is most holy.

In spite of this, however, when they are in the land of their enemies I will not reject them and abhor them to make a complete end of them, to break my covenant with them, for I am the Lord their God.

This is the law of the one with a discharge: the one who has a seminal emission ¹  and becomes unclean by it, ² 

He must not profane his children among his people, ¹  for I am the Lord who sanctifies him.’”

If a man has no redeemer, but he prospers ¹  and gains enough for its redemption, ² 

Do not take interest or profit from him, ¹  but you must fear your God and your brother must live ²  with you.

“If the person is poor and does not have sufficient means, ¹  he must take one male lamb as a guilt offering for a wave offering to make atonement for himself, one-tenth of an ephah of choice wheat flour mixed with olive oil for a grain offering, a log of olive oil, ² 

“‘If his offering is a burnt offering ¹  from the herd he must present it as a flawless male; he must present it at the entrance ²  of the Meeting Tent for its ³  acceptance before the Lord.

“‘If you walk in my statutes and are sure to obey my commandments, ¹ 

or has found something lost and denies it and swears falsely ¹  concerning any one of the things that someone might do to sin ²  –

Do not make yourselves detestable by any of the swarming things. ¹  You must not defile yourselves by them and become unclean by them,

You yourselves must obey ¹  my statutes and my regulations and must not do any of these abominations, both the native citizen and the resident foreigner in your midst, ² 

He must not eat an animal that has died of natural causes ¹  or an animal torn by beasts and thus become unclean by it. I am the Lord.

he is to calculate the value of the years it was sold, ¹  refund the balance ²  to the man to whom he had sold it, and return to his property.
