Surely all the wealth that God snatched away from our father belongs to us and to our children. So now do everything God has told you.”

So he went and got the goats ¹  and brought them to his mother. She ²  prepared some tasty food, just the way his father loved it.

but when I rest ¹  with my fathers, carry me out of Egypt and bury me in their burial place.” Joseph ²  said, “I will do as you say.”

Then Israel said to Joseph, “I am about to die, but God will be with you ¹  and will bring you back to the land of your fathers.

I have ¹  the power to do you harm, but the God of your father told me last night, ‘Be careful ²  that you neither bless nor curse Jacob.’ ³ 

Lamech lived 595 years after he became the father of Noah, and he had other ¹  sons and daughters.

This is the account of Shem. Shem was 100 old when he became the father of Arphaxad, two years after the flood.
