But the news about him spread even more,<n id="1" /> and large crowds were gathering together to hear him<n id="2" /> and to be healed of their illnesses.

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;Everyone who comes to me and listens to my words and puts them into practice<n id="1" /> &#8211; I will show you what he is like:

But as for the seed that landed on good soil, these are the ones who, after hearing<n id="1" /> the word, cling to it<n id="2" /> with an honest and good<n id="3" /> heart, and bear fruit with steadfast endurance.<n id="4" />p>

I know that you are Abraham&#8217;s descendants.<n id="1" /> But you want<n id="2" /> to kill me, because my teaching<n id="3" /> makes no progress among you.<n id="4" />

If those people to whom the word of God came were called &#8216;gods&#8217; (and the scripture cannot be broken),<n id="1" />

When Pilate heard these words he brought Jesus outside and sat down on the judgment seat<n id="1" /> in the place called &#8220;The Stone Pavement&#8221;<n id="2" /> (<i>Gabbathai> in<n id="3" /> Aramaic).<n id="4" />

With many other words he testified<n id="1" /> and exhorted them saying, &#8220;Save yourselves from this perverse<n id="2" /> generation!&#8221;

And now, Lord, pay attention to<n id="1" /> their threats, and grant<n id="2" /> to your servants<n id="3" /> to speak your message<n id="4" /> with great courage,<n id="5" />
