And pointing<n id="1" /> toward his disciples he said, &#8220;Here<n id="2" /> are my mother and my brothers!

For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is<n id="1" /> my brother and sister and mother.&#8221;p>

For Herod had arrested John, bound him,<n id="1" /> and put him in prison on account of Herodias, his brother Philip&#8217;s wife,

<t /><p class="bodytext">Six days later<n id="1" /> Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John the brother of James,<n id="2" /> and led them privately up a high mountain.

<p class="bodytext">Then Peter came to him and said, &#8220;Lord, how many times must I forgive my brother<n id="1" /> who sins against me? As many as seven times?&#8221;

So also my heavenly Father will do to you, if each of you does not forgive your<n id="1" /> brother<n id="2" /> from your heart.&#8221;p>

And the king will answer them,<n id="1" /> &#8216;I tell you the truth,<n id="2" /> just as you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters<n id="3" /> of mine, you did it for me.&#8217;p>

Then Jesus said to them, &#8220;Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee. They will see me there.&#8221;p>

As he went along the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew, Simon&#8217;s brother, casting a net into the sea (for they were fishermen).<n id="1" />

Going on a little farther, he saw James, the son of Zebedee, and John his brother in their<n id="1" /> boat mending nets.

to James and his brother John, the sons of Zebedee,<n id="1" /> he gave the name Boanerges (that is, &#8220;sons of thunder&#8221;);

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> Jesus&#8217;<n id="2" /> mother and his brothers<n id="3" /> came. Standing<n id="4" /> outside, they sent word to him, to summon him.

A crowd was sitting around him and they said to him, &#8220;Look, your mother and your brothers<n id="1" /> are outside looking for you.&#8221;

And looking at those who were sitting around him in a circle, he said, &#8220;Here<n id="1" /> are my mother and my brothers!

He did not let anyone follow him except Peter, James,<n id="1" /> and John, the brother of James.

But when John rebuked Herod<n id="1" /> the tetrarch<n id="2" /> because of Herodias, his brother&#8217;s wife,<n id="3" /> and because of all the evil deeds<n id="4" /> that he had done,

Why<n id="1" /> do you see the speck<n id="2" /> in your brother&#8217;s eye, but fail to see<n id="3" /> the beam of wood<n id="4" /> in your own?

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now Jesus&#8217;<n id="1" /> mother and his brothers<n id="2" /> came to him, but<n id="3" /> they could not get near him because of the crowd.

But he replied<n id="1" /> to them, &#8220;My mother and my brothers are those<n id="2" /> who hear the word of God and do it.&#8221;<n id="3" />p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">Then<n id="1" /> someone from the crowd said to him, &#8220;Teacher, tell<n id="2" /> my brother to divide the inheritance with me.&#8221;
