All<n id="1" /> the nations will be assembled before him, and he will separate people one from another like a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now when John<n id="1" /> heard in prison about the deeds Christ<n id="2" /> had done, he sent his disciples to ask a question:<n id="3" />

There will be two women grinding grain with a mill;<n id="1" /> one will be taken and one left.p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now when Jesus saw a large crowd<n id="1" /> around him, he gave orders to go to the other side of the lake.<n id="2" />

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;Brother<n id="1" /> will hand over brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rise against<n id="2" /> parents and have them put to death.

He went away a second time and prayed,<n id="1" /> &#8220;My Father, if this cup<n id="2" /> cannot be taken away unless I drink it, your will must be done.&#8221;

<t /><p class="bodytext">He told them another parable: &#8220;The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed with<n id="1" /> three measures<n id="2" /> of flour until all the dough had risen.&#8221;<n id="3" />p>

But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except for immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.p>

Then he said to them, &#8220;Therefore every expert in the law<n id="1" /> who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his treasure what is new and old.&#8221;p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now when Jesus heard this he went away from there privately in a boat to an isolated place. But when the crowd heard about it,<n id="1" /> they followed him on foot from the towns.<n id="2" />

What do you think? If someone<n id="1" /> owns a hundred<n id="2" /> sheep and one of them goes astray, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go look for the one that went astray?<n id="3" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">When he left there, Jesus went along the Sea of Galilee. Then he went up a mountain, where he sat down.

Or how can you say<n id="1" /> to your brother, &#8216;Let me remove the speck from your eye,&#8217; while there is a beam in your own?

A<n id="1" /> very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road. Others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.

He said to them, &#8220;Would not any one of you, if he had one sheep that fell into a pit on the Sabbath, take hold of it and lift it out?

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;Woe to you, experts in the law<n id="1" /> and you Pharisees, hypocrites! You cross land and sea to make one convert,<n id="2" /> and when you get one,<n id="3" /> you make him twice as much a child of hell<n id="4" /> as yourselves!p>

And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet blast, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven<n id="1" /> to the other.p>

and placed it<n id="1" /> in his own new tomb that he had cut in the rock.<n id="2" /> Then he rolled a great stone across the entrance<n id="3" /> of the tomb and went away.

and will cut him in two,<n id="1" /> and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.p>

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin,<n id="1" /> it would be better for him to have a huge millstone<n id="2" /> hung around his neck and to be drowned in the open sea.<n id="3" />
