The priest ¹  is to present it before the Lord and make atonement ²  on her behalf, and she will be clean ³  from her flow of blood. ⁴  This is the law of the one who bears a child, for the male or the female child.

If, however, the people of the land shut their eyes ¹  to that man ²  when he gives some of his children to Molech so that they do not put him to death,

“‘They must be holy to their God, and they must not profane ¹  the name of their God, because they are the ones who present the Lord’s gifts, ²  the food of their God. Therefore they must be holy. ³ 

It will belong to Aaron and his sons, and they must eat it in a holy place because it is most holy to him, a perpetual allotted portion ¹  from the gifts of the Lord.”

If he is too poor to pay the conversion value, he must stand the person before the priest and the priest will establish his conversion value; ¹  according to what the man who made the vow can afford, ²  the priest will establish his conversion value.

Then Moses said to the congregation: “This is what the Lord has commanded to be done.”

Finally Aaron waved the breasts and the right thigh as a wave offering before the Lord just as Moses had commanded.

and the one who carries their carcass must wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening; they are unclean to you.

The priest will then command that one bird be slaughtered ¹  into a clay vessel over fresh water. ² 

Therefore ¹  the land has become unclean and I have brought the punishment for its iniquity upon it, ²  so that the land has vomited out its inhabitants.

for the people who were in the land before you have done all these abominations, ¹  and the land has become unclean.

Indeed, ¹  any person who does not behave with humility on this particular day will be cut off from his people. ² 

Each Sabbath day ¹  Aaron ²  must arrange it before the Lord continually; this portion ³  is from the Israelites as a perpetual covenant.

Six years you may sow your field, and six years you may prune your vineyard and gather the produce, ¹ 

He must be with you as a hired worker, as a resident foreigner; ¹  he must serve with you until the year of jubilee,

Since they are my servants whom I brought out from the land of Egypt, they must not be sold in a slave sale. ¹ 

after he has sold himself he retains a right of redemption. ¹  One of his brothers may redeem him,

If a man redeems ¹  part of his tithe, however, he must add one fifth to it. ² 

and the priest ¹  must take up with his hand some of the choice wheat flour of the grain offering ²  and some of its olive oil, and all of the frankincense that is on the grain offering, and he must offer its memorial portion ³  up in smoke on the altar ⁴  as a soothing aroma to the Lord. ⁵ 

But Aaron spoke to Moses, “See here! ¹  Just today they presented their sin offering and their burnt offering before the Lord and such things as these have happened to me! If I had eaten a sin offering today would the Lord have been pleased?” ²
