On a day determined in advance, Herod ¹  put on his royal robes, ²  sat down on the judgment seat, ³  and made a speech ⁴  to them.

But we must ¹  run aground on some island.”

Moving on from ¹  Perga, ²  they arrived at Pisidian Antioch, ³  and on the Sabbath day they went into ⁴  the synagogue ⁵  and sat down.

Then as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on ¹  them just as he did ²  on us at the beginning. ³ 

and the rest were to follow, ¹  some on planks ²  and some on pieces of the ship. ³  And in this way ⁴  all were brought safely to land.

About noon ¹  the next day, while they were on their way and approaching ²  the city, Peter went up on the roof ³  to pray.

Then Peter and John placed their hands on the Samaritans, ¹  and they received the Holy Spirit. ² 

But the word of God ¹  kept on increasing ²  and multiplying.

but ¹  God raised him up on the third day and caused him to be seen, ² 

On the next day, ¹  their rulers, elders, and experts in the law ²  came together ³  in Jerusalem. ⁴ 

They stood these men before the apostles, who prayed ¹  and placed ²  their hands on them.

When Paul had gathered a bundle of brushwood ¹  and was putting it on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat and fastened itself on his hand.

These had gone on ahead ¹  and were waiting for us in Troas. ² 

And then ¹  everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ ² 

They ¹  laid hands on ²  the apostles and put them in a public jail.

When ¹  our time was over, ²  we left and went on our way. All of them, with their wives and children, accompanied ³  us outside of the city. After ⁴  kneeling down on the beach and praying, ⁵ 

Then, after they had fasted ¹  and ²  prayed and placed their hands ³  on them, they sent them off.

The next day they let ¹  the horsemen ²  go on with him, and they returned to the barracks. ³ 

when he said, ‘Go to this people and say, “You will keep on hearing, ¹  but will never understand, and you will keep on looking, ²  but will never perceive.

The angel said to him, “Fasten your belt ¹  and put on your sandals.” Peter ²  did so. Then the angel ³  said to him, “Put on your cloak ⁴  and follow me.”
