Any human being who is permanently dedicated ¹  must not be ransomed; such a person must be put to death.

“‘Surely anything which a man permanently dedicates to the Lord ¹  from all that belongs to him, whether from people, animals, or his landed property, must be neither sold nor redeemed; anything permanently dedicated is most holy to the Lord.

So fire went out from the presence of the Lord ¹  and consumed them so that they died before the Lord.

If a man has sexual intercourse ¹  with any animal, he must be put to death, and you must kill the animal.

As for any person ¹  who does any work on this particular day, I will exterminate ²  that person from the midst of his people! ³ 

I will lay your cities waste ¹  and make your sanctuaries desolate, and I will refuse to smell your soothing aromas.

I myself will make the land desolate and your enemies who live in it will be appalled.

You will perish among the nations; the land of your enemies will consume you.

the priest is to come and examine it, and if ¹  the infection has spread in the house, it is a malignant disease in the house. It is unclean.

I will send the wild animals ¹  against you and they will bereave you of your children, ²  annihilate your cattle, and diminish your population ³  so that your roads will become deserted.

I will destroy your high places and cut down your incense altars, ¹  and I will stack your dead bodies on top of the lifeless bodies of your idols. ²  I will abhor you. ³ 

When it reverts ¹  in the jubilee, the field will be holy to the Lord like a permanently dedicated field; ²  it will become the priest’s property. ³ 

He must burn the garment or the warp or the woof, whether wool or linen, or any article of leather which has the infection in it. Because it is a malignant disease it must be burned up in the fire.

He must then examine the infection on the seventh day. If the infection has spread in the garment, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in the leather – whatever the article into which the leather was made ¹  – the infection is a malignant disease. It is unclean.
