Though ¹  they found ²  no basis ³  for a death sentence, ⁴  they asked Pilate to have him executed.

But you rejected ¹  the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a man who was a murderer be released to you.

He ¹  found favor ²  with ³  God and asked that he could ⁴  find a dwelling place ⁵  for the house ⁶  of Jacob.

Calling for lights, the jailer ¹  rushed in and fell down ²  trembling at the feet of Paul and Silas.

Requesting him to do them a favor against Paul, ¹  they urged Festus ²  to summon him to Jerusalem, planning an ambush ³  to kill him along the way.

And after convincing ⁶  Blastus, the king’s personal assistant, ⁷  to help them, ⁸  they asked for peace, ⁹  because their country’s food supply was provided by the king’s country.
