The ¹  disciples were greatly astonished when they heard this and said, “Then who can be saved?” ² 

When the crowds heard this, they were amazed at his teaching.

They were even more astonished and said ¹  to one another, “Then ²  who can be saved?” ³ 

They ¹  were amazed ²  at his teaching, because he spoke ³  with authority. ⁴ 

When ¹  Jesus finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed by his teaching,

People were completely astounded and said, “He has done everything well. He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”

Then when the proconsul ¹  saw what had happened, he believed, ²  because he was greatly astounded ³  at the teaching about ⁴  the Lord.

The people there ¹  were amazed by his teaching, because he taught them like one who had authority, ²  not like the experts in the law. ³ 

Then ¹  they were all astonished at the mighty power ²  of God.But while the entire crowd ³  was amazed at everything Jesus ⁴  was doing, he said to his disciples,

Then ¹  he came to his hometown ²  and began to teach the people ³  in their synagogue. ⁴  They ⁵  were astonished and said, “Where did this man get such wisdom and miraculous powers?

The chief priests and the experts in the law ¹  heard it and they considered how they could assassinate ²  him, for they feared him, because the whole crowd was amazed by his teaching.

When ¹  his parents ²  saw him, they were overwhelmed. His ³  mother said to him, “Child, ⁴  why have you treated ⁵  us like this? Look, your father and I have been looking for you anxiously.” ⁶ 

When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue. ¹  Many who heard him were astonished, saying, “Where did he get these ideas? ²  And what is this wisdom that has been given to him? What are these miracles that are done through his hands?
