So if the son<n id="1" /> sets you free, you will be really free.

For when you were slaves of sin, you were free with regard to righteousness.p>

Were you called as a slave?<n id="1" /> Do not worry about it. But if indeed you are able to be free, make the most of the opportunity.

For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the<n id="1" /> slave woman and the other by the free woman.

But one, the son by the slave woman, was born by natural descent,<n id="1" /> while the other, the son by the free woman, was born through the promise.

because you know that each person, whether slave or free, if he does something good, this<n id="1" /> will be rewarded by the Lord.p>

Live<n id="1" /> as free people, not using your freedom as a pretext for evil, but as God&#8217;s slaves.<n id="2" />

&#8220;We are descendants<n id="1" /> of Abraham,&#8221; they replied,<n id="2" /> &#8220;and have never been anyone&#8217;s slaves! How can you say,<n id="3" /> &#8216;You will become free&#8217;?&#8221;

For the one who was called in the Lord as a slave is the Lord&#8217;s freedman. In the same way, the one who was called as a free person is Christ&#8217;s slave.

<t /><p class="bodytext">Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not my work in the Lord?

For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body. Whether Jews or Greeks or slaves<n id="1" /> or free, we were all made to drink of the one Spirit.

Here there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave<n id="1" /> or free, but Christ is all and in all.p>

So then,<n id="1" /> if she is joined to another man while her husband is alive, she will be called an adulteress. But if her<n id="2" /> husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she is joined to another man, she is not an adulteress.

<p class="bodytext">A wife is bound as long as her husband is living. But if her husband dies,<n id="1" /> she is free to marry anyone she wishes (only someone in the Lord).

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave<n id="1" /> nor free, there is neither male nor female<n id="2" /> &#8211; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.

But what does the scripture say? &#8220;<i><b>Throw out the slave woman and her sonb>, <b>for the son of the slave woman will not share the inheritance with the sonb>i><sc>&#8221;sc><n id="1" /> of the free woman.
