And he was amazed because of their unbelief. Then ¹  he went around among the villages and taught.

Jesus ¹  sent him home, saying, “Do not even go into the village.” ² 

Send them away so that they can go into the surrounding countryside and villages and buy something for themselves to eat.”

He took the blind man by the hand and brought him outside of the village. Then ¹  he spit on his eyes, placed his hands on his eyes ²  and asked, “Do you see anything?”

Then Jesus and his disciples went to the villages of Caesarea Philippi. ¹  On the way he asked his disciples, ²  “Who do people say that I am?”

and said to them, “Go to the village ahead of you. ¹  As soon as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there that has never been ridden. ²  Untie it and bring it here.

And wherever he would go – into villages, towns, or countryside – they would place the sick in the marketplaces, and would ask him if ¹  they could just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.
