While in Galilee, he moved from Nazareth ¹  to make his home in Capernaum ²  by the sea, ³  in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali,

After sending away the crowd, he got into the boat and went to the region of Magadan. ¹ 

Then ¹  the entire town ²  came out to meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they begged him to leave their region.

A ¹  Canaanite woman from that area came ²  and cried out, ³  “Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is horribly demon-possessed!”

Now when ¹  Jesus finished these sayings, he left Galilee and went to the region of Judea beyond the Jordan River. ² 

When Herod ¹  saw that he had been tricked by the wise men, he became enraged. He sent men ²  to kill all the children in Bethlehem ³  and throughout the surrounding region from the age of two and under, according to the time he had learned from the wise men.
