And since<n id="1" /> this was not done without a sworn affirmation &#8211; for the others have become priests without a sworn affirmation,

then he says,<n id="1" /> &#8220;<b><i>Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no longeri>b>.&#8221;<n id="2" />

For <b><i>just a little longeri>b><n id="1" /> and <b><i>he who is coming will arrive and not delayi>b>.<n id="2" />

But we are not among those who shrink back and thus perish, but are among those who have faith and preserve their souls.<n id="1" />p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now faith is being sure of what we hope for, being convinced of what we do not see.

And these all were commended<n id="1" /> for their faith, yet they did not receive what was promised.<n id="2" />

For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come.
