(Now there were many lamps ¹  in the upstairs room where we were meeting.) ² 

There ¹  we found ²  some brothers ³  and were invited to stay with them seven days. And in this way we came to Rome. ⁴ 

Suddenly ¹  a sound ²  like a violent wind blowing ³  came from heaven ⁴  and filled the entire house where they were sitting.

When the man said this, ¹  Moses fled and became a foreigner ²  in the land of Midian, where he became the father of two sons.

When Peter ¹  realized this, he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John Mark, ²  where many people had gathered together and were praying.

On the Sabbath day we went outside the city gate to the side of the river, where we thought there would be a place of prayer, and we sat down ¹  and began to speak ²  to the women ³  who had assembled there. ⁴ 

We ¹  sailed away from Philippi ²  after the days of Unleavened Bread, ³  and within five days ⁴  we came to the others ⁵  in Troas, ⁶  where we stayed for seven days.

When ¹  they had entered Jerusalem, ²  they went to the upstairs room where they were staying. Peter ³  and John, and James, and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot, and Judas son of James were there. ⁴ 

Paul replied, ¹  “I am standing before Caesar’s ²  judgment seat, ³  where I should be tried. ⁴  I have done nothing wrong ⁵  to the Jews, as you also know very well. ⁶
